It’s C’s turn to wake up with the kids but I can’t get back to sleep so I’m hiding in our room. And one child has already come in to ask me for something. I have to leave in an hour to go get ham and turkey. This “vacation” isn’t as fun or relaxing as it was suppose to be

I'm off work the rest of the week. So far I have emptied the water out of the washer for the repair tomorrow, made myself breakfast, took care of work emails, called in a refill script for H, and am catching up on the Amazing Race.
I really have no plans but to relax.

Morning! I’ve got nothing going on today. Combing through preschool and 1st grade art, and trimming the playroom of a few things.

[mention]guster [/mention] I’m hoping to go through the kids things on Monday to thin out toys they don’t really play with too. Both will be back to normal routine and in theory C will be putting up the tree and garland.

Morning! I still can’t believe how well everything is going and I’m sort of expecting to crash down at some point, but maybe that just won’t happen 😊. Baby girl is doing really well, she does like to sleep on top of mommy, but I can’t blame her  . The kids seem to be adjusting fairly well, Ds is completely smitten, it’s so cute. I received baby girls birth announcements in the mail today, the card came out adorable, but the envelopes were hideous. Luckily they allowing me to swap them! |

It feels great once it’s done. I love the starting and end result. It’s that middle part where you have a lot of stuff left they’re not playing with every day/week, but sometimes, stuff that’s not broken but just not ‘your thing’ etc etc. I hate that part! |

Who leaves a house without a mask and expects the store to provide one now? This dude was upset he had to wear a mask on the store to get his turkey. The store had a disposable one for him but he thought it was ridiculous to have to wear one.

Also LA county’s numbers are high enough to order a shelter in place order again. No outside dining starting tomorrow. We will see what happens next.

I'm at work frantically searching for a certified mail slip because we've run out. I ordered some from the post office, but I need one now. During my search I found a box of coffee creamers and boxes of coffee pods that the old receptionist had apparently been hoarding in a drawer in the large conference room. I'm very wtf? right now. LOL
This is not as strange as the bag I found in the supply closet full of bottles of peroxide though...

I just stared the Queens Gambit last night. I’m liking it better than I thought I would.
I’m just back from picking up B - she had a half day and is now off the rest of the week. Got some stuff done for work but I can see the slow trickle of emails and non responses means lots of ppl have already starting their TG holiday.

We finished Friends From College last night and I am annoyed it wasn't renewed. We really liked it.
Not too much going on today. I was super tired so I used some flex time to take a nap. I have my weekly call with my work friends soon and don't plan to do much work today.

Hey. I woke up late so S was late for school, but only a few minutes. I ran to target to pick up a couple more supplies and then stopped at honeybaked ham to get our roasted turkey breast for Thursday. Now it will taunt me in the fridge for the next 2 days. After I got S her lunch I quickly made banana bread and it’s now in the oven baking. I need to get V down for a nap and then go hard in my kitchen cleaning. This evening I have a new trainee. Hopefully we have a lot of patients so it goes by quickly.

I’m definitely looking for another show so I might give it a try even if there isn’t closure. I’m also going to attempt The Crown but I don’t love historical fiction (non-fiction). The first episode is so slow. |
