It will be no surprise to anyone, that my mother and I got into it last night. She shockingly had too much wine and was being a total bitch. Anyway, I told her if she was going to continue to act like a bitch I was going to bed. So I retired to my room early. She actually apologized to me this morning. WTF?

Morning. MH is at work until noon. Me and the boys are at M’s last tennis lesson. It’s beautiful outside. Just cleaning the house today. We may start to get out the Christmas stuff.

Last night Mh told me he didn’t take off work the days we are supposed to be going to my mom’s. I told him not to take off the days M has distance learning and he took that to mean don’t take off at all. No surprise our communication sucks. 🤦🏽‍♀️ So now I feel bad that we are going and he will be at home alone for Thanksgiving. I need to figure out what I will cook for him to have that day.

Not much going on rn. Taking B for a haircut after lunch and then stopping to get some groceries for dinner and cupcakes for her “party” tmrw. Her 2-friend party has now turned into just 1 friend. The other little girl was exposed to covid so now I’m quarantine and awaiting test results.

Also awaiting the delivery of our new refrigerator so kind of bound to the house today anyways.

The kids were up by 7am but played together in B’s room for a bit, watching/listening to them on the monitor is hilarious.

I have no idea what we’re doing today, I have a workout to do, B has a bit of homework and I’ll send the kids outside to work on their sledding hill in the yard other than that I’m hoping for a chill day with them.

My mom just texted... her an my dad both tested positive. She says she has no symptoms and my dad still only has no smell. But now I’m questioning everything because she had a “cold” a couple weeks ago... hmm.

Just got back from Cadence's party. It was just 5 girls including Cadence and they were all drop offs.
It was super cute and all the girls left with blue eyeshadow and glitter hair. 😬

Hey. I worked this morning but I’m training all weekend so not much time to be on my phone. This girl is a big ditz, so that’s fun. I stopped and got my drive up order from target on my way home. Just got V down for a nap and now DH and I are going to tackle the rest of the outside Christmas lights.

They assumed he got it from a hockey teammate.

Just talked to my mom and she tells me now that 4 of the 6 person group she plays cards with at the golf club all have it... and that she had a cough for a couple days a few weeks ago... when they babysat our kids 😡

So it could be my parents didn’t get it from my nephew after all...

Hiiiii! My brother and his wife just left a bit ago after many rounds of that drone game Amazon has been pushing. FYI - it's the perfect gift at this age, Col was screaming with glee.

Other than that, we spent the day outside and cleaned up the back beds in between visitors. I also baked Colin's baseball birthday cake and DH and Colin were giving me such a hard time about getting the laces right, that I swear I need a drink now!

I want to get DH to put the outside lights up tomorrow but I'm pretty sure he's going to say it's too early. But I want them nooooooow!!

slenle hope your parent’s symptoms stay mild. We had my sister and her kids over today. We haven’t seen them since Halloween and we usually see them several days a week. It was a beautiful day so we were able to stay outside. T was sad they were quarantined for his birthday so I made cupcakes. C missed nap so I’m hoping for early bed tonight.

Hi! We did some yard work yesterday, and decorated a little more for Christmas. Apparently I’ve gone tree crazy, but it makes the house feel so cozy.
I have two big planters outside that usually hold begonias/impatients in the summer and mums in the fall. I threw the mums out yesterday and I need something in there for color-What can I buy that would last through the snowy winter months?
