As far as I was aware, I was going to be sitting at the front as the receptionist for awhile. One of the partners said, well yeah, but you'll need an office. Mh is taking Cadence to the dentist for apparently the first time ever. He said, "tiny teeth, right?" Huh?? Uh, no, that is in fact NOT the name of her dentist. "By the hospital?" Uh, no....
So, Cadence has an appt at 11:30. FX she actually makes it there. It's just to check the healing of the frenectomy, but she was also saying cold hurts the tooth they put a filling in, so I need them to check to make sure the filling is ok. If they make it to the appt that is, and remember to tell the dentist about it.

She also has dance and girl scouts today, and her teacher and librarian mentioned a read-along tonight for the start of the book fair, which I was initially going to skip logging into, but since EVERYONE told her about it, she is insisting she go. Luckily, its all online so I just have to connect her and go relax.

Both yday and today, B’s class has been letting them all get on the iPad at the same time and accessing zoom as well as showing them how to do “breakout” chats. Smells like DL prep to me.... 🤔☹️
I mean I figured this would come eventually and I’m glad they’re working out kinks now, but noooooo!

Good news is that the other mom got back to me, so both girls can make her paint party this Sunday.

And we’re getting our new fridge delivered on Saturday. I’m weirdly excited for that.

This is my last week of work. Officially furloughed on Friday. So I am trying to get things wrapped up and cleaned up so when I come back in Feb it is not the current disaster it is. Plus I have a lot of programming things I have to make sure other people take care of while I am gone. I am looking forward to the time off....for a bit...until the paycheck stops. Lol. I really need to curb my shopping.

Whoa what a morning; working while getting the two kids ready to get out the door and do drops offs should be an Olympic sport, but I did it and the kids did great.
I had a 3 hour webex this morning on a new system, I'm glad that's over.  

I'm trying a new routine for myself and doing a work out video during lunchtime, so workout clothes are on and Polymetric Cardio Circuit here I come, I have no idea what that means but it sounds like I'm about to die a little....

He's doing ok! Transfered care to my hospital which I think is good but will be a TON of driving for my mom (I'm sure you can relate!). He has a couple additional tests scheduled because they think he may have been misdiagnosed (we hope not because the alternative is worse). Then surgery in a couple weeks and then radiation 5 days a week for 6 weeks and chemo at the same time. Luckily he's feeling good other than concentration. Thanks for asking ❤️

Haha! Has he always tried to find a new home or was that just after kids? I love his positive attitude though “I’m going to get in this time! I just know it!” Is what I imagine he says to himself.

There are times where I am so freaking smart that I amaze myself. Then there are times when I do the most idiotic thing and amaze myself. Unfortunately today was the latter. I got a new Christmas tree. It’s my first pre-lit and I was nervous since I know sometimes a whole section can be out so I wanted to set it up to see. Everything’s going smooth. I mastered fluffing the bottom part. Plug in the middle, no problems. There’s a plastic tie around it that needs to be removed to allow the branches to fall. I cut it off. And cut a light wire. 😞 I called and the manufacturer will send me a replacement strand that I should receive in 7-10 business days I pretended on the phone that I discovered the broken wire while we were troubleshooting.

Just after kids! He used to never leave our sides! And the kids are awful about opening doors without being careful and he just takes off! He tries so hard but we always get him back 🤣

OOPS! Glad they can send a replacement. I'd 100% do the same thing.
