Update on MIL: she is back home. She has been doing well- getting all the meds and she even got some of the plasma from someone that was recovered. We just facetimed her and she seems well. Her SATS are 95 or above and she is on oxygen as needed. Doc told her to quarantine 20 days from this past Sunday when she tested positive at the hospital. Hopefully she is in the clear for good.

We are the same, except I wasn’t thinking Vermont. Give me a state where I can consume edibles legally. I heard you can do that in Denver. Not that any of us know anything about that. 🤣 I’m still mad that I didn’t let myself try it there. I did end up having to do my new hire prescreening the following month, so probably best I didn’t. 😒 MH did apply for a job an hour south of there, but so far no dice. |

I just unfriended several people on FB because I'm tired of their bullshit political posts and how everything is a conspiracy right now. I doubt they will notice because they're so full of their own bullshit, but I'm excited to not see their shit anymore. That’s self care. I have unfriended some people and just hidden others from my feed over the course of the last 4 years. |

I just got home from work. There are 445 total inpatients in my hospital, 101 of them are covid+. This is crazy.
I’ve never done any sort of weed, but I’d be interested in trying edibles after V weans.

@klongoria if you like snow go to Vermont. You might need more civilization though. I would recommend RI, CT, or MA. Then you are close enough to visit! I second this! wedding I wonder how far you are from me and joelies. I’m not sure. Is there a large town nearby you and I can check? Or you can. I’m about ten miles east of Providence. |

wedding and joelies thanks for thinking Of us. We’re fine, just staying busy the last few days. Joelies, I honestly don’t know how long it will take the kids to adjust since we’ve never done this long of a deployment with kids before. I keep telling them that each day will get a little bit easier. We’ve already mailed some artwork to DH and we’re able to FaceTime last night so that helps.

I have little contact with covid+ patients and their visitors, although I’ve seen a lot more in L&D over the last month. We have plexi glass between us and people that come up to the desk, plus the desk is about 3ft wide. And everyone is required to wear a mask. |

guster if you are where I think you are, you’re much closer to kim22 and I. Yes, when I was in Westchester I think we were super close— probably under an hour, but now maybe a little bit more. My cousin’s family lives right outside of mahwah and it takes me 90 minutes to get to him. |
