I’m not being super productive today for work...I caught up on all my emails and most of my calls are this afternoon. So I’m trying to get some other work done but I’m just not feeling it.

lahdeedah and klong11 come trip balls in Oregon.   lfig wishing you a speedy recovery.  nam2013 I have never seen The Notebook. It is one of my stepdad's favorite movies. He's a gruff laborer who wears a lot of plaid and has a narrow range of emotions. Lolz. Apparently it touches something deep inside him.

I just unfriended several people on FB because I'm tired of their bullshit political posts and how everything is a conspiracy right now. I doubt they will notice because they're so full of their own bullshit, but I'm excited to not see their shit anymore.

Dh is doing well. Both of his hands and arms hurt and he’s bruised up from the seatbelt but really nothing major. He even went out and cut up some fallen tree branches in the yard! He did take today off but is going back tomorrow.
I spent the day dealing with insurance and browsing for cars. It’s a bit difficult car shopping with COVID-19. You can’t just walk on a lot and browse. We have an appointment Monday to see some Mazda CX-30’s. They are basically the smaller version of my car. I offered DH my car and I could get a new one but he didn’t bite. I love my car though so it was a half hearted offer.
The Governor put us on a stay at home advisory from 10pm-5pm. Restaurants need to close at 10pm. Less people allowed for gatherings. We need to wear masks when we are with people who don’t live in our home, even if 6ft apart. And a few other things. She’s trying so hard not to shut things down but if people don’t follow the regs we will have to. Some teenagers had a Halloween party in the next town over. 21 people have tested positive and over 300 are being quarantined. From one dumbass party!
Suffice it to say between this never ending election, COVID, and DHs accident I’ve been stress eating. TG for leggings!

I am in a mood today, turns out. A friend of mine got a postitive covid result on Sunday, she got tested on Friday. They went trick of treating on Saturday night and yesterday her whole family of 7 went to a park, and she posted pics on IG. This is not how you isolate and quarantine 😡. No wonder our state’s cases are exploding. That is beyond frustrating. It's also why I fear (but also hope) schools go 100% virtual from Thanksgiving to mid-January. I just read that on a local Facebook group. All rumors at this point but I understand the logic behind it. |
