I did watch Holidate. guster, tgrimes, vinoIt’s in my queue, but I just started season six of Schitt’s Creek so I want to finish that first. Also, because it’s holiday themed, I’d really like to have my tree up. I was going to do them today, but decided we should celebrate Josie’s birthday before I get too heavily into Christmas so that weekend of the 15th it’s on. |

Our nearest neighbor is a mile away. I love the peacefulness living on 7 acres and no neighbors too close. But sometimes I’m sad to miss out on the fun neighborhood things that you all do! And the neighborhood kids playing together. So for now...I shall live vicariously through you all!

Morning. I’m tired and DH is in a mood so today is starting out well. No real plans for the day, just hang around the house. Right now DH and the big girls are playing in the yard and I’m taking a break from cleaning to nurse V. Ouch wineallthetime I hope it’s not broken |

Anybody watched You/me/her on netflix? It’s five seasons, and since I’m home a lot in the coming period ik looking for something to binge, but I’m not sure if this is good or not.
ETA I should add, I’m a little bit of a prude, so maybe that’s my hesitation...

Halloween was fantastic. We did not ring any bells but so many people had tables with bags of candy or fun contraptions to send candy out of windows and stuff. We went to probably 1/3 of the houses we usually go to and got twice as much stuff.
I just got home from DD’s soccer game (in the pouring rain). Poor kid struggles with wearing glasses in the rain but refuses to try contacts.

It’s so blah today. I’ve had too much chocolate and caffeine. The kids are being cute, watching tv and playing board games, but I’m really looking forward to curling up in bed.

We had a busy day. C had football this morning and I did groceries when they were there. My new bike came in so I had to go pick it up. I love it and can’t wait to ride later in the week when it warms a bit. We also had the last of Cs birthday celebrations. It was a lot of running around but it was also nice to be out doing things instead of hanging at home.
My goal for tomorrow is to take Halloween down outside. Our yard is in desperate need of a fall cleanup and we still have a bunch of branches that fell in our last windstorm. Our yard guy is going to cut up and remove those and hopefully do that and the cleanup this week.

And SIL just called and said MIL admitted she wasn’t feeling better and is being admitted to the hospital. Her SATs are down, but not terrible.
I was just telling my mom yesterday that when I talked to her, she seemed to be in denial about her symptoms and trying to make it something other than COVID. She got antibiotics for a bladder infection Friday, but it’s not helping her feel better, so she fessed up that she feels awful.
Please send good vibes our way.
