I found out last night my uncle has cancer and I am feeling super sad. He starts treatment on Monday and will have zero immunity and will be on total quarantine with the exception of my aunt and his doctors. It’s a form of leukemia and it’s hard to detect, like he’s probably had it 6-8 years but until it shows up on a blood test, you don’t know you have it.

DS just saw himself in the full length mirror and started shouting NO and pulled his pants off. Relatable. It’s okay, little guy. Shelter in place has been hard on all of us.

I'm sorry Minerva! Our freezer is broken and I had about 50oz of breast milk in there. It was partially thawed when I found it this morning and moved it into the garage freezer. I'm debating whether it's still ok to use.

Hello to the working H’s club! Normally H gets a day off after work travel but November is so packed for him he’s working today. It’s really put a cramp in my 24 hours of no parenting. These kids think they should still be fed and stuff.

I know I will regret this but I just introduced DS to paw patrol and it’s so nice to sit still with him for a few minutes. He’s entranced. I was free and clear of this show and I just sent myself back at least 3 years. 🙄

Minerva, poor kiddo! Poor parents! I hope you're all home resting soon. He must have taken quite a tumble.

I slept til 9 and I'm about to make apple fritters. I think I'm embracing brunch today.
It's my last day of vacation and I am torn between lazing around or using the time to handle a few odd chores. Really I want H to handle the chores 🤣
We also need a new riding mower and I am very much not looking forward to making that purchase

I’m waiting outside the OR for DS to get out of surgery for his broken arm. They weren’t able to set it under sedation last night, so he’s getting full anesthesia along with a plate and some screws. It’s been a loooooong night. Please distract me from thinking too much with your tales of pancake breakfasts, pet shenanigans, and juicy gossip. Oh my gosh! What happened? I hope surgery goes well. Hugs.

I’m so sick of the toddler. He’s stuck here with no one to play with and I don’t want to play tractors or color a million trucks for him. I told him to go find something to do or he’s going to be put in his crib.
(His brothers could play with him but usually don’t want to).

Poor little guy Minerva. My MIL gave me my birthday gift. All kitchen cleaning supplies and three pairs of socks with cats on them. Is that.... a happy birthday gift for you or a 😬👀 gift?

I just stepped out our front door and someone boo’d us last night (or early this morning). It’s someone who knows the kids well because it’s full of Minecraft and Toy Story and their favorite candies. And the best part is that there is no little “pass it on” note!

We're prepping to visit my inlaws today. We were having a peaceful morning until K couldn't find her drawing paper and she decided it was the absolute end of the world. 😒

I guess my H can join the working wives club. At work today. DH was grumbly via text that they only slept in til 7. I’m sorry sir- you are off all day and slept til 7! I was up at 5:30. 😒
Also we got into a stupid fight last night bc I told him I’m bummed I didn’t like the last season of schitt’s creek bc he was so vocal about his hatred of 99% of the characters and it made watching it with him kind of eh. Like I couldn’t get all in bc he was always making comments or rolling his eyes or something that it made me meh towards the show. And all I hear about it is how great the ending was and I was left very ....... about it. And so he was so offended and got all pissy so I got all pissy and......
