That is awful and extremely frustrating inthekitty, you shouldnt have to bear the load of his anger and nit picking just cause you're the strongest of the team. Maybe a respectful line needs to be drawn and push back at him cause you shouldn't have to be subjected to that.

She spent all day with me yesterday and we had zero issues. No back talking, no yelling, nothing. As soon as we get home its like they trigger each other and its complete chaos.

I told him he needs to work on rebuilding their relationship because she clearly has an issue with him. All he says is "ok", but then does nothing about it. He is so checked out of everything except his own job and his
"band" crap.

S is a terrible liar and pretty much immediately confesses. I asked her about the hand sanitizer when I picked her up and she sheepishly told me she put it in my water. Why? I have no idea. I think she’s exploring her newfound independence. Since H is at school and I’m preoccupied with V she can get into so much more stuff.

When he texts you an issue you should say back “I’m sorry I can’t help you with that”. And tell him to quit bothering you at work. That’s annoying that he can’t grow the f up and deal.

I definitely need to push back, but I'm not going to right now because I don't think I could so without throwing in some expletives. He has no clue about who actually does what at work (even though my team has a tracker and it's all in black and white--I've always been by far the most caught up on work assignments and have never had any complaints or returns on my reports whereas every other member of my team has over the years). I currently have 4 reports in my queue whereas the next closest person has 12. He only has 14 people he supervises so it's not like he's got a large gaggle to manage. He focuses on me because I'm a younger female and I don't get snippy and rude with him like some of my colleagues. That might have to change. 

The issue he's giving me shit about today is morning check-ins. I was present at our morning teleconference today, but because he was too dumb to realize that, that's supposedly my fault. He sent me a barrage of bitchy texts and a formal email about it. I'm going to start sending messages to the whole fucking team every morning on Teams, email, and text so that fucker can't say I didn't check-in like he's done on numerous occasions when I've only messaged him as he's directed.

He has a lot of fucking nerve because even though we're all supposed to be in office 50% of the time, on his in-office days he shows up several hours late (obviously just rolls out of bed when he starts the teleconferences) and leaves several hours early. Also why it annoys me he won't advocate for full TW for us when he does as he pleases whenever the fuck he wants.

When I was younger for some reason I decided to carve "dad" in a wood table with a pencil or something. I think it was like my dad's grandpa's table or something that he loved. My oldest sister wrote her A's different than the rest of us so I used her "a" and they thought it was her and she got in big trouble. I feel really bad about the table but not the part about my sister cause she was so mean to us and always blamed me for things I didn't do. I recently told my family (minus her haha) that it was actually me. They thought it was funny because like I said, she was so mean!

Surprisingly I am totally ok with the chaos.  I love seeing the progress each day and the hard work and pride that everyone is taking in my home.  Yes, I am paying them but I really did luck out with great contractors, they're asking great questions and we're changing little things along the way to ensure it is aligning with our vision.

Now if only I could pick a grey.....I am sure I'll hear it from the painter soon-ish on that one. oops.

MHs district got sent home early today and are closed tomorrow. Nothing yet in the school, but there is community spread that may be linked to the district so while they contact trace, they will be home.

Good news! Snow turned into rain so instead of getting 3”, some actually melted. Hooray!

Our elementary schools are full time in person and they just announced middle and high will switch to that next week from hybrid. I’m surprised since our states numbers are going up, but our county has been going down, so that’s good.

Today was my day to go into the office. I stopped at a different grocery store on the way home and got a bunch of meat. The store in my town doesn't have many options, so I got a bunch of different things, which I'm overly excited about. I think tonight will be salmon, which Evie will hate. Tomorrow will be bacon and cheddar stuffed pork chops. Or I'll flip flop. I also put some different options in the freezer. I'm just so tired of making the same shit.

Thanks for the sympathy everyone. It just really got to me this morning. Any time there's the slightest issue he goes to an 11 and never takes any responsibility--must be the employee's fault. And very rarely do we get any praise despite being one of the highest producing places in the country.

snoopmommymom average height, but extremely insecure. Like the most insecure boss you've ever seen. And this is how he deals with it. His insecurity manifests by lashing out unnecessarily at employees and I am at the brunt of it more because of being a younger female. I actually like him personally, but as a boss he sucks. I've worked here for 8+ years and never just not shown up to work and since teleworking started have checked in every day. So those few days you don't get my message don't assume the worst of me and start attacking. Just reach out to me and I'll reply. He has no idea how fucked he'd be if I left. Not only is our team way too small to sustain losing our worst employee, they'd be crushed losing their best. He needs to start recognizing that and quit being a dick.

Update on TKD scandal: Didn't find out much more info other than in a private conversation with MH, the replacement confirmed that Rex Kwan Do was sexing one of the TKD moms. Wouldn't say who, but I have 3 guesses. He's gross, so maybe all of them? Two parents (mean mom and one other) have been absent for quite a while even though they used to be regulars. Another was really upset he left even though he was a dick and not nice to her kid.

This guy just oozes creeper vibes. I'm grossed out at the thought of anyone sexing him. I hope they used life-sized condoms like in Naked Gun.
