I’m in my car at work. Not wanting to be here. I’m only working two days this week. But I’m wishing I would have taken the whole week.

Hopefully the day flies by...for all of us!
I re-read the email from Evie's Rheumatologist yesterday and had H do the same. We came up with a list of questions and I sent them all yesterday. So hopefully I'll hear from her today and get a plan started. I let Evie's teacher, school nurse and PE teacher know what was going on, just in case. Her teacher emailed me back at 830 last night, she keeps a close eye on her and makes me aware of things.
SSDD here, just work. I should have worked over the weekend, but didn't feel like it, so I'm already feeling very behind.

Morning and happy Canadian Thanksgiving!
I took the day off since Chase's daycare is closed and work would have been dead anyway. I already managed to close Chase's fingers in the door on our way out to the driveway to wait for the bus. Awesome. He was so excited for the bus that all is forgotten and we're playing with play-doh now. The weather stinks so all my plans are down the drain, so we'll play it by ear.
I have big plans to work on reviews during nap. It's our first year doing 360 reviews and I have 26 to do. There are a lot of changes coming up in the next couple months so I want to do a thorough job. My one complaint is that I know how these changes are impacting other people before they do. I think the changes are all warranted, I will just be happy when everything is out in the open.

Morning. I slept okay, still pain but not as much as yesterday, so the board seems to be helping. I also got a hot water bottle. Kids are playing with Lego’s and playdough after being outside for hours. I’ve started a new book, the second line stated that they were in Rockland, Maine. It is fun to be able to have such a clear picture of what they are describing in your head  . |

Morning. I’m off today. Currently at the dealership getting my oil changed. After this I have a few errands to run.
My FIL got a call last week that someone at the church he was with tested positive. He tested the next day and his test came back positive. He feels completely fine though, so either asymptomatic or maybe a false positive? I wish he would retest so we know for sure. MIL wants him to stay upstairs and he is doing a poor job of it, but FIL is not an idle person. She has not tested and doesn’t have symptoms, but she can be OTT, so I’m sure they will be driving each other batty over this next week.

School was supposed to be closed, but they moved it to next month. I'm sure the teacher is wishing today was over. She has 5 kids from our class in person and 4 from another class. One of those other students has been reprimanded so many times this morning. She can't sit still, she's refusing to get on the iPad with her teacher, she clogged the room toilet and the teacher just asked her to put her shoes and socks back on. Not to mention all of the technical difficulties the teacher is having this morning.
My alarm didn't go off this morning, so I didn't do my walk.
I leave for work in a little bit and I'm not looking forward to it.

I took Charlie for a haircut this morning. First since March (although we did have somebody come to the house in August, but she pretty much butchered him.
It was masked, but close contact for a while, and I internally screamed when she asked for high five when he was leaving.
Now we’re home for the afternoon and just hanging on the house on this gloomy day.

I don't think I posted much this weekend. Saturday night we got a babysitter and went to sushi with another couple. We had a blast and stopped at a dessert place on our way home. I got cheesecake and it was huge. There's still some left in the fridge. Yesterday we played outside and then went to my in laws' house for dinner. The kids got to swim one last time. The pool was too cold for me (80 degrees lol) so my FIL turned the hot tub on for me.

We had a busy weekend.
Friday we had a backyard playdate with some of S friends from K and I had a nice time. Bonus that it was 2 blocks away so we walked over and I was able to have a few more drinks.
Saturday was the birthday party for S Bff. It was just a bunch of kids running around the backyard and was pretty fun. Then yesterday I woke up with a raging headache so not much of anything.
B has a little headcold (so minor it wouldn't even register in another year), so I kept him home today, and S is home b/c of the holiday. So I'm trying to get some work done, while monitoring Prime day and dealing w/ the boys...

I'm on a FB group called Bomb Deals and I know they are going to be posting like crazy. They post a LOT of items daily, so I'll have to find a way to check it more the next two days. Hoping to start some Christmas and Birthday shopping! |

I just got up. It’s noon. We are all home today for Indigenous Peoples Day (aka Columbus Day). I’m not sure what we will do the rest of the day. I have to go get groceries at some point. lahdeedah I hope your in laws stay asymptotic if they have it. vino Happy Thanksgiving! |

We were back at the nursery this morning and now DH is out planting. He will head back for mulch and a crape myrtle in a bit.
B has school today but C is home, so I took her to look at stuff for Halloween costumes. We went in thinking Dorothy...but came out with an Ariel/mermaid gown 🤷🏻♀️ Our Target now has a mini-Disney store within the store so she also got the matching bejeweled mermaid crown, lol.

Hi hi. I’m kid free for a few hours. I had a chiro appt this morning and am going to lunch with a few friends so L went to my sisters and she’ll pick up H from school, and I’ll get them after lunch. I had a lovely stroll through target buying unnecessary clearance accessories and now I’m home for a few minutes. I should be cleaning my house from the party yesterday, but I don’t feel like it yet.
