We just watched Toy Story 4. Josie is still anti most movies, and floated in and out. She cried hysterically at the end. We’re supposed to see Coco next week at an outdoor drive in for a pta fundraiser. She’s totally going to lose it.

We were back at the nursery this morning and now DH is out planting. He will head back for mulch and a crape myrtle in a bit. B has school today but C is home, so I took her to look at stuff for Halloween costumes. We went in thinking Dorothy...but came out with an Ariel/mermaid gown 🤷🏻♀️ Our Target now has a mini-Disney store within the store so she also got the matching bejeweled mermaid crown, lol. Fun! Will she wear a long red wig?

Tomorrow M has his first DL day. They will be doing school from 8-2pm. Only three live instruction times and I’m not sure how long they will last. We only got this info last week and I had already agreed to work. If I had known before they asked me to work, I would have taken off just to make sure things go smoothly. MH will be home, but sometimes they can butt heads if M is not in the mood. Should be an interesting day for them both.

One of the neighbor kids just showed up to play, so I let him come through the house to get to the backyard where B & C are. I overheard C go, "[name]! It's so nice to see you!"
She cracks me up.

Morning. I’m off today. Currently at the dealership getting my oil changed. After this I have a few errands to run. My FIL got a call last week that someone at the church he was with tested positive. He tested the next day and his test came back positive. He feels completely fine though, so either asymptomatic or maybe a false positive? I wish he would retest so we know for sure. MIL wants him to stay upstairs and he is doing a poor job of it, but FIL is not an idle person. She has not tested and doesn’t have symptoms, but she can be OTT, so I’m sure they will be driving each other batty over this next week. False positives are much less likely than a false negative. I would say he’s positive and to act like it re: isolating and quarantining.

We all had a great first day back at school except of course it poured and was freezing and I was freezing all day. MH was so excited to be alone in the house. He did all the laundry, made the bed, and put dinner in the crockpot so that was great. I just took all 4 for flu shots and we had no tears from anyone this year. I am driving DS and my nephew to school since they go where I work. I have to be inside before they are allowed in so I gave them my spare keys and told them to wait in the car until it was time to go. DS said someone saw the keys and asked why he had car keys. He told them he needed a house key and his parents just gave him that whole thing. Now his classmates think he lives in a car.

I’m sorry in advance for any snark over the next week or two. I may actually just keep my distance. The withdrawal symptoms from Zoloft suck. I am super irritable, like ready to rip everyone’s heads off. I am hearing a noise in my head that won’t go away and of course because I’m irritable it’s pissing me off. On top of that I’m having some other tmi health issues that aren’t helping things. It was a terrible time to decide to stop taking it, I should have waited until next month. I think I need to lock myself in a room, with no social media or news, for a week or two.

On the other side of it, I am wondering if I should get on something because the last month or so has been a rollercoaster and this last month before the election is sure to do me in. If we weren’t losing our insurance at the end of this month, I would inquire. 😣

trtlcrzy if you have side effects like that you probably need to taper down slower. So if you were on 100mg and now you are at 50mg, go up to 75 for a week and then try drop down. It’s not worth it to grin and bear it thinking it will be better in a few days because it may not be. On some meds I’ve had to do as little as 12.5mg. Withdrawal from psych meds can be dangerous if not done the way your body needs it to be done. I’m no Dr but I feel I can speak to this since I’ve been on every SSRI and SNRI at some point or another.

Also lahdeedah any update on the job front for your H? He has an interview with a gym here Wednesday, but if he decides to do that, it will only be temporary until something else comes along. He has applied for a few military training positions, but it may be a few weeks before we hear anything back. They closed last week and you know how slow they move. I’m honestly hoping one of those works out. It will probably require a major move, but at this point I’m looking forward to it. I’m ready to leave MS and start anew somewhere totally different. One of the jobs is west coast and though I never wanted to go that far yet, I welcome the adventure now after all the COVID quarantine, not traveling, and general funk of 2020. Onward to new opportunities and a change of scenery. Nothing college wise is shaking right now and probably won’t until December. Between those two options, I have to work on patience. 😩 Thanks for asking.

I was told to taper but I forgot to take it that night so I figured it would be fine if I just continued it that way and for the most part it has been. I think it was especially bad this morning because of lack of sleep and the way I was awoken (to bickering children). I took a nap and an feeling less irritable now.

How has the job hunt been going? Nope- don’t qualify for benefits as a per diem employee even though I work a ton of hours weekly. We are looking into options. We may get a decent coverage on the market or if not the cobra rate is honestly not much more than what we were paying, but it would be a lot on my income alone.

Shit, trtlcrzy. Do a smaller dose if you need to for a few days even though you stopped it. Not worth being miserable, like wedding said. Let your body adjust. I stopped Wellbutrin fully when I got the, "Surprise! You're pregnant with Arlo!" and I know how rough that can be. Thinking about you!
