Morning. Some idiot from around the corner ordered food at 01.30 in the morning (didn’t even know that was possible 😳) and an even stupider delivery guy rang our doorbell instead of the correct adres!!! He freaked Dh and me out! It took almost an hour to fall back asleep because my adrenaline was pumping...
I made granola, banana bread & banana oatmeal cookies, those last ones where Meh, but what else can you expect from a recipe that contains banana and oatmeal and little else...

Heading to my mom's today. Both Cadence and my mom were complaining that they hadn't seen each other in FOREVER.

We have had a shit show of a week. I am ready for a fresh start tomorrow. TRIGGER WARNING: A good friend of ours died on Wednesday. {Spoiler} He committed suicide. He posted a selfie at Niagra Falls (the only pic of himself on FB), put his phone down on a rock, then went over. We are in shock. MH is devastated. He was kind of a mentor to MH. He was also MH's "phone a friend" when he was struggling with things, mentally, related to the job. He would help him get in the right head space after serious incidents like dealing with a drowning or a murder investigation, ect. |

Also, S was supposed to have her infusion on Friday so I took the day off work. Nurse drove 2 hours to our house. Then we couldn't do it because S had a fever. So now it is rescheduled for Tuesday.
The good news is...my parents are here for the next 3 weeks in their RV in our front yard. So I have extra hands to help me! Today my mom is doing my laundry while I work...because she is THE. BEST! And she has cooked dinner several nights!

Nothing exciting here.
Friday night, we somehow stayed up until 2am. I cant remember the last time that happened and I'll be paying for it all week. One neighbor came over to hang out by the fire pit, then another couple, then another neighbor, then another group of neighbors. It was fun, but damn, I'm too old.
We got all our Halloween decorations put up outside today.

Took the girls to the Children's Museum then we went out to lunch. Napped, went on a bike ride with doggo, now we're watching The Addams Family. The girls love it.
I've played an embarrassing amount of Mario. 😳

Today L and I watch Gillian’s Island while E slept. He loves it and want to watch more.
L has been asking to join me for my nightly yoga 🧘♀️ so I let him...I won’t be doing that again. He just goofs around and I mentally need my yoga downtime. I’ve noticed it has helped me out a lot.
