What’s happening today ladies?

I’m WFH. I was suppose to go to the office but I’m in virtual meetings the bulk of the day and still have s a lot of things on SAP to do.

More waiting to hear from others on if they are safe or not.

I hope you get good news from more coworkers than not, chrisy01! You keep talking about SAP. We are moving to that and I'm nervous. I have a ton of work to do to get information from all my suppliers to put into it.

I woke at 5 stressed about work. I've already showered and have make up on...told my boss I'm coming in in yoga pants so I can run afterward. I miss the trail I used to run at and it's supposed to be nice today. But I have a ton of work to do.

Nothing on the agenda today. I may drag C out to look for some things for our back patio. I want to spruce that space up a bit.

It’s not hard once you learn it’s little things. It’s just I’m covering for people who didn’t hand everything over so finding where they left off is harder. It’s not really the system. Just the fact that I have two days to get everything done.

Hi everyone. I have a Botox appt today, so excited for that. Then we are going over to my SIL’s for dinner tonight.

Matthews lip is very swollen. Jack and I have a dentist appointment so I'm taking him with me so they can look at it. I didn't want him going to school and busting it open during lunch and being embarrassed by a pool of blood. Or the school having to deal with that. so hopefully he'll be good for tomorrow.

Happy October 1st! October is my favorite month. It is the official end of crazy end of fiscal year spending and the end of Law Clerk season. Which means I have nothing to buy and no staff coming in or out for a bit. I am sure stuff will come up but for today I don't have a lot to do. October is also C's birthday month and my favorite holiday, Halloween. C and I should be finishing our outdoor decor today so I will get some pics to share. I wish I had a larger yard to do more!

I think we'll decorate for fall/Halloween today.

I started a training yesterday at work that took forever and I still didn't complete it. Really hoping that it saved my place.

I love October, too. October and November, really. Great weather, all the birthdays in our family, fall decorations, fall food, etc. 

I'm waiting another week or so to get pumpkins and mums to hopefully make them last, but the cool weather has me very itchy to get started. Inside stuff is up, though, and wreaths are on the doors!

Morning. S’s teacher was dressed up in a crayola box costume and had little paper cone hats for the kids to wear this morning. S did NOT want to wear that hat. I think she probably had them wear it for a pic and then let her take it off. I’m at home nursing S and then heading in to the hospital to get my flu shot and go to my derm appt. I was supposed to see the derm in March and was pushed back until now, good thing it’s just an annual skin check.

I scheduled C's flu shot for Saturday. I told him we would get ours that time as well. He says "No mom, I need to do this myself." He cried last year and is trying to be brave.

Morning from the hair salon. Getting these greys covered and going a little warmer for fall.

I’ll run some errands after this while I’m kid free. I need to get some mums and pumpkins for the porch.. maybe Dh and i can grab lunch too.

At work and it’s been a busy morning. I’m so tired and not feeling it. I have to leave to get a cavity filled this afternoon. It’s a spot in between my teeth. Need to do better at flossing. After that I need to do a Costco run. Probably just pick up a rotisserie chicken to go with the leftover butter chicken sauce from last night. First time making it and it was good.

I decorated for fall last weekend. Couldn’t help myself!

I’m having a crappy day. Yard people in my house/yard again. Ds sounds a little hoarse and has a slightly raised temp of 99.7. Which most likely is due to his outdoor sports day yesterday, from which he came home soaked with sweat while it was quite cold outside. But according to my mom it ‘could very well be corona’, which is not really helpful at the moment. Normally I would just lock the four of us in our home and stay in, but because of the garden people walking in and out all day this is not and option... so we’ve been at my parents house (with distance between adults).

Ds birthday party is on Saturday and it was supposed to be and outdoor party, but weather predictions are really awful and if ds gets worse (or not better) than today we might have to cancel it all together. I hate all this corona related worries. I’m so tired.

TL;DR; just venting, nothing major.

It was pretty easy in my instant pot. I’ve never had it before and now I want to get it at the local Indian restaurant so I can know what it’s supposed to taste like.

It was good, but the spices weren’t as strong so I may have to compare a few recipes to see if I can up the amount of spices for more flavor.

lahdeedah, after I finally finished watching The Office, MH started and I joined in for round 2. Soon enough the girls were joining in and upset if we'd watch without them. Maddie loves Dwight and wants to vacation on his beet farm. They also love Angela and were totally jealous of all of her cats.

Haha! The first few seasons were the best. Well maybe starting at season two. I haven’t finished the whole series because once Michael is gone, it’s just not the same.

I have to be near the computer to see the numbers they are presenting and make sure they are correct.

chrisy01 anytime I'm on a call that I don't need to buy on, I mute it and work on actual stuff that makes a difference to me. I hate calls like that!

I went to the office and took everything that was personal home with me. I walked into my bosses office before I left, carrying some of it, she asked me what I was doing. I told her taking all my personal things...if shit goes south, I don't ever have to come back. My diploma was the most important thing, but I grabbed all my fun pens as well.

I’m working on SAP when they are talking about things that I don’t have to actively be looking at. I know my bosses know this because I’m responding to emails they are copied on. They know it’s end of fiscal and they want me to meet all this deadlines.
