I’m up early because the kids woke up at 5am. Today is the first good air quality day in 10 or 11 days. I’ve lost count. Our plan is to spend every second we can outside today. Once the sun finally comes up. 😂

My kids slept in until 7. It was glorious. I stayed up too late watching TikToks since those might not be a thing soon.
I am running out of pandemic-friendly activity ideas to do with my kids. Luckily today my MIL is coming over - I have to play violin for a wedding, and then MH and I are having a takeout food picnic date night.

So, baby cat has now gained 0.5# since coming home with me Tuesday night. 2.9# up to 3.4#! I can still see a little bit of blood in the chamber of his eye, but there are no longer signs of glaucoma. His legs are weird and he doesn’t quite walk right yet. It almost looks like his back legs are longer than his front, which I’m not sure if he’ll just grow into or what. He can walk in a straight line now though, so yay for that. His brain seems to be healing well, and he’s starting to act like a normal kitten. God help me.
I don’t think I can give him back at this point. So what am I naming him? Should I make a thread? The original foster named him Marvin.

She still had a milder fever for Most of the day yesterday, and last night she started coughing a few times, so I don’t know what’s up with that. Overall, she feels pretty good I think. She’s playing, doing her drawing videos, etc. Just gets tired easily. |

Slept In until like 830 then laid there for a few since the coffee is programmed for 845 on Saturdays.
Not much going on, cd1 and it’s cold out (60 which to me is winter even though I’m in Ma and it’s seasonally appropriate right now) but sunny so I feel we should apple pick or something but I don’t want to deal with people. So we will see. I could go for some cider donuts though.
The cat is on my lap and the girls are playing and ds is sleeping and dh is working so it’s quiet in here. I can hear the clock ticking.
The Chinese take away last night was just ok. It was from a different place so I didn’t really like it and now I have a fridge full of leftovers I barely want.

In the case of how can 2020 continue to get worse-we had a 4.8 earthquake last night right before midnight that wrecked my entire night of sleep. No matter how long I live here, I will never get used to the ground moving.

I have a mask buying issue lol. This local woman has her own craft business out of her house and she just posted the cutest winter and Christmas prints...so of course I ordered 6 more masks. A few will be gifts though.
And if anyone had told me last year that I’d be buying masks as Christmas gifts I would’ve looked at you like you were nuts!

We are going to my parents for Rosh Hashanah for dinner. Until then cleaning and organizing. DD1 wants to sell some toys to make money so she can buy different toys. She has her eyes set on another dollhouse. DH and I say all the time that she is going to be the adult that collects antique dollhouses. She is obsessed with dollhouses. And miniature things.

Quiet & Slow Saturday here. H is working per normal. household chores, the boys and I are going to venture into town at some point, maybe (online order to be picked up though I would prefer to wait until tomorrow to see the new sales), finishing the body of the Afghan i am making for the ILs for Christmas. The border directions make no sense to me so I might set it aside and pick up the shawl I started.
It’s finally cool out so I should open up the house and let it air out. 1 teenage boy and 1 tween boy has me living that febreeze and Axe life.
