Any other old ladies TTC or navigating life over 35?
We are currently TTC#3. I had my first at 33, second at 35 and I'll be 37 next week. I didn't feel nervous about being AMA last time because I was barely part of the AMA club, but I am a little more anxious about conceiving now.

I'll jump in and say hi! I had my first, a girl, at 35 and have plans to try for another soon. It just recently occurred to me that I'll be 39 at the youngest if I have another and am nervous about it.
We are in the middle of remodeling our home to sell and completely renovating our new house, so it's a lot of stress right now. We are hoping to get settled before we start trying.

Hey ladies! I usually hang on the loss boards & was fairly active on TTC35+. I was a former mod on TTC35+ but stepped down after I got KU w/ my rainbow late 2015. Had our first (DD) last Aug at 36 and we're currently TFAS. Happy early birthday sweetc129!! GL with the renovations bluebonnets!! I know it's a lot of work but it's just so rewarding in the end. We did some reno work most of 2015 & I swear every wkend I wanted to give up! ETA: tag

Hi ladies! I posted on TTC > 35 on TCF while TFAS and currently post the Grad Check-In. I'm not sure if we'll have enough posters to continue it here but if we do, I'm happy to post it again. I'm glad to see some familiar faces around here!

Thanks agpjt413 and sweetc129! I keep telling myself it will all be worth it, but it feels like everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. But I'm pretty sure everyone feels that way about their renovations.

SWEET. I'm glad this is here. I'm 36 (turning 37 next month), TTC #2. DH is 42. My daughter was born when i was 27 so this is going to be an interesting experience to say the least.

I'll jump in here too if that's OK. I had my DD at 34. I'm 38 now (SO is 50) and we are TFAS right now. We're on cycle 6 at the moment and at this point I'll be at least 39 if we do get pregnant. We are waiting to move into our new house (just getting a few things done) so we're living in separate places right now which makes TTC a major logistical undertaking at the moment. We should be moved in by the end of July so hopefully that might help to ease some stress and help with the process.

Hi I came over from the other place! Hi Radiantfate! We have similar names I have a 20 month old, had her when I was 37 (just shy of 38) and am now 39 going on 40 in September! I had a noncompliated birth, but it did take us 1.5 years to conceive. I'm still nursing a ton and cosleeping (middle of the night feeds are still multiple times a night) and don't yet have my period back. We will start TTC for a second soon. Scared about how much space we DON"T have and also about our thoughts of moving out of the city etc, but I'm not too worried. I hope when we decide that we are ready, we have zero angst! It was hard enough TTC for the first. Now I know I can get pregant and what labor is like, I'm aware and can hopefully get KU again within 6 months or so. -Radiantly

agpjt413 Thanks! Good luck to you guys too! It's nice to see someone else with an H close in age to mine:) We did EOD this cycle (I O pretty early and my cycles are fairly short) so I'm keeping my fingers crossed it was enough. Might try to fit tonight in for good measure.

bluebonnets Good luck with all the renos. That's really stressful but I'm sure the end result will be totally worth it. We just put a hold on the renos we were about to start because the greenspace behind our house might be sold and developed so we're waiting to see what happens...but chances are we'll end up renovating within the next 2 years.

petrichor you're my hero! I had my daughter at 38. She's our first and a rainbow baby. We conceived through IVF. She's almost weaned completely. We will be doing a frozen embryo transfer late summer/fall. I'm scared to death. I'm TIRED, my knees hurt. Please tell me I can do this! Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

sammysam Thanks! The end is almost in sight. We should be ready to move in two months (hopefully!). I hope the green space behind your house isn't developed! Living near all that construction would not be fun.

Hi all! I didn't participate on this board on TCF but I'm parenting 35+ now.
DS arrived in 2014 when I was 33. My ex and I TTC starting when I was 28 with no luck. My current DH and I got lucky within the first six months.
DD just arrived in January and I was AMA with her.
I'll be 36 next month. DH just turned 47 and has no other kids. He's the SAHP, bless him. He's far more chill than I am. I work full time as a science tech support supervisor.

It wasn't by choice, but it has worked out great. My husband is 52. We spent 16 years trying to grow our family. My oldest was born when I was 33. We didn't intend to space them so far apart, but we're thrilled to have him now. You can totally do this. And I definitely believe that my kids keep me young.

Hi! I see some familiar faces here and some new ones so that's nice! I was (am?) the mod on TTC>35 at the other place but everyone has moved elsewhere now. I had my first (DD) at 36 and just had my second (DS) on 5/1 at 40 after dealing with 2IF. We are done and I decided to have my tubes tied with my RCS. I'm still adjusting to the idea that I will never be pregnant again, even though I did not love pregnancy either time!

sleepymonkey I'm in the same boat. Had the tubes removed. Pregnancy is rough on me and the recovery is also bad, but I get a little wistful about never being pregnant again

Hi! I posted here a few times back when ttc # 2 who was born last august - just before I turned 43. I'm posting here bc I think this board is a great resource and I want to see it stay active!
I have 2 boys, 3.5 and 9 months old. Both born after 40.
I feel 100 most days, but I wouldn't change it for the world.

Hi, I am usually in July15 and thought I'd check out this little corner. I conceived at 40 with my rainbow baby. She will be 2 next month! I see some familiar faces... hi ceci! petrichor, do I remember you from J15? I guess I would say that having a toddler keeps me feeling young. ...except maybe for when I need to put on reading glasses to clip her little finger nails. LOL Looking forward to getting to know you ladies.

Then suddenly this year I've started having to use reading glasses for small print. It's the only part of aging that has bothered me so far.
