I ordered some fancy coupe glasses this weekend. I've been holding off because I've been thinking I could just go to a thrift store and find something decent but eh fuck it. They're from Crate + Barrel and now I want all their coupe glasses.

Not so mucha splurge as a recently discovered necessity, but I ordered a five pack of cheaters (reading glasses) from Amazon and tried to at least get cute ones.

What is the plant on the right? I think/am pretty sure it’s a pilea/pancake plant but it wasn’t labeled. I really wanted one but they only had big ones that were expensive and then I found this little cutie amongst the unlabeled assorted little plant pile. I’m so excited about it! Yes, also known as a Chinese money plant. Once they get going they sprout off little babies and you can pot those as well. My friend has given me the little babies twice now. Mine is growing this time but it's definitely not thriving. I need to research. I have a fun app called Picture This. You take a photo of a plant and it tells you what it is and how to care for it. Such a fun thing when you spy a random flower.

I am not known to be good with houseplants but I really want to get better and start keeping more around the house.

Just a general update. The P448 sneakers are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I need 100 pairs.

But I tried on a couple diff pairs of high tops and they all felt amazing. I think I’ll wear these every day for the rest of my life. They have like pocketed cushioning. It feels like slippers.

It feels like slippers. Dumb question from the non-fashion-inclined - do you wear them tied/not tied like that? When I was younger, those skater shoes with the big fat laces that you would tuck in were huge. I could never get them right and was always the dork who had them tied.

I need something cute to wear with jeans that aren’t too casual.

These you can wear like this because they zipper on the inside. I’m never good at wearing them like this because I feel like my feet will come out but these are made to be worn that way.

And I’m just going to say, I acknowledge they’re pricey. But if anyone is looking for a sneaker to wear every day until you die, go try these on at Nordstrom and tell me I’m a liar.

I just ordered these shoes for winter casual shoes. I'm excited for zippered sides to slip on and off.

I also just ordered makeup from sephora, a handbag from Portland Leather Goods, and some joggers.

I need a nice chunky heeled black boot that does not have a heel higher than 2.5-3 inches and is not too expensive (less than $70-ish).

Those are cute CestLaVie! I think I want something more casual, like the converse ones Cher linked. The just haven't found the perfect ones yet.
