I have a puppy that hasn’t died! SNIP And don't forget a planter shaped like your tits. Oh yes, that has been my best 2020 purchase for sure.

I just bought a plane ticket to visit my H and daughter as a surprise for her 9th birthday. I haven't seen her since July and I am counting down the days.

I am enjoying the houseplant love because H bought 2 house plants over the weekend for our living room, and he really enjoys them. He just kept smiling at them like a weirdo. So I imagine that's what you guys are doing, too.

I just picked up a Hoya and a Ponytail off the curb where someone was moving out! I was so excited, they are both gorgeous and expensive. Such a score. I think I'm going to hang the hoya from a hook in DD's room. Amazon has some pretty plant hangers and floating trays. Ooooh what kind of Hoya is it? I think it's called a Hindu Rope Hoya? I have an app on my phone 🤓that identifies plants but it couldn't tell me what it was.

Lamest splurge ever but we never used our patio furniture because the only place we could store cushions was in the basement. So for 4 years, we didn't want to lug them up stairs and through the house to use and then back to put away so we just never enjoyed them. Finally we bought a damn deck box for $150 to hold them all next to the patio couch and it's so exciting!!

Oh I spent a pretty penny over the weekend at Athleta, because they were having a sale plus 10% back on Rakuten. Some of it was for DD1, but mostly for me.

The kids' signs. Virgo for DS on my left arm; Gemini on my right for SD. I've seen some with the stars connected, but I liked the minimal look of this. Most people don't even notice them with all of my freckles. I love that!

The rope pant will definitely be next on my list. They do have such pretty flowers!

I haven't really done anything for myself but Sephora treated me to a surprise palette instead of the mascara I had ordered. The mascara is now being sent and I get to keep the palette.

I bought a new vacuum as my big spurge. 2020 broke me. But I really like it and more importantly so do the kids!

And it has changed my life. I have told my husband repeatedly that it’s the best purchase we’ve made in ages. I even like vacuuming now.

I want a tattoo for my kids but can’t figure out what I want that hasn’t been over done. Might I suggest... They’re my favorite tattoos. I truly love this and I have been considering one for my DD but I couldn't think of anything not corny. I don't have any tattoos currently.

I just splurged on wool and cashmere wash and spray from The Laundress.
I’m also thinking about updating my WFH wardrobe, with a heavy lean towards athletic style clothes that I can work out in and power walk the daycare/school run in.
I’ve started Christmas shopping and that’s helping me fulfil my dopamine desires to hit “purchase” without blowing the budget - I have a monthly amount that goes into a holiday/gift fund so I just draw from that. So far I’ve gotten Hanna jammies and slipper socks for the kids, and an indoor fort building set that will be a family gift from Santa.
I just got my hair done and while in normal times it would feel nice, after 6 months it felt like the height of luxury! I’m still riding high on being free of regrowth.

I got a rowing machine from Amazon a couple of weeks ago. So far I love it. On days when I could not fit a walk in during the daylight hours I'm especially glad to have it. Was it one of the under-$100 ones? I’ve been thinking about them.

Several of my friends say they're the best joggers they've worn. I keep trying other, cheaper joggers and at this point I could have just bought the Vuoris! I am really happy with my Athleta and Senita joggers, but I am a sucker for joggers and will likely get these anyway. I am wearing Tommy John joggers that DH got me. I yelled at him because I thought they were overpriced and I’m cheap, but damned if they aren’t the most comfortable pants.

I just bought myself the pink keurig since I had a shit ton of k-cups in my office (I recently brought them home). And I have a Botox appointment next month.

Nothing lately because of the damn Corona economy making it so I am making no money. BUT we are planing a trip to Paris and either Ireland or Vienna/Salzburg for our 15th anniversary next October. It is fun to plan something and it gives us something to look forward to. I refuse to entertain that the economy and Covid will still be an issue then, otherwise I will lose my mind. We went to Paris for our honeymoon, so it would be really meaningful to go back for our 15th.

I recently purchased some artisanal oud oils and niche perfume. Also purchased new skin and body care products that I’m really enjoying. After losing 150 lbs (still some more to lose), I’m enjoying the transformation and self-care rituals.
My b-day is in just under a month and I have plans for more goodies. I love wearing attars and sandalwood and oud oils during the colder months, so I have more on my list and a couple more niche or indie perfumes I want to get in preparation for fall and winter.
Also want to preorder the PS5 when it releases. It will be a family gift. I can’t wait to play it.
As for binge-worthy shows, we’re currently watching Raised by Wolves, Lovecraft Country, The Boys, The 100, 3%, The Rain, and look forward to Welcome to Blumhouse, The Mandalorian S2 and The Haunting of Bly Manor.

Are they good? I keep hearing great things but I haven't sprung for them yet. Several of my friends say they're the best joggers they've worn. I keep trying other, cheaper joggers and at this point I could have just bought the Vuoris! Today I finally ordered a pair to see what the hype is about. I also ordered a pair for MH because I wanted free shipping and I'm a nice lady.

All this smoke is making me reconsider the Peloton tread. Someone here (sorry can’t remember who) told me about a Peloton tread Facebook group that is filled with horror stories of delayed deliveries and broken machines. And yet I’m still dreaming about that damn thing.
