Age - 3.5 montbs
Updates - G is just getting so big. He looks more and more like DS1 every day. DS1 actually goes back to school on Wednesday, so our routine is about to be completely shifted. I plan on doing a lot of Kindergarten prep with DS2 during school days so hopefully G is cooperative and stays chill. I'm thinking our 4-hour mid-day nap is coming to an end. Which is fine, as long as he has sufficient naps and night time sleep to make up for it.
Milestones - So he kind of rolled over the other day. He rolled onto his side and then he was grabbing my fingers (I was next to him) and he pulled, which tipped him a bit and then gravity helped lol. So he did it himself, but it wasn't a true independent roll. Won't be long now though I bet.

Age- 11 weeks
Updates - V had slept through the night a couple more times! I hope it becomes more consistent and not just a fluke. She’s also starting to take some longer naps. She is such a happy, smiley baby. She loves bath time and smiles the whole time. We had a sudden drop in temps so I’ve had to bust out the long pants and shirts. I hope we have a nice long fall with mild temps but 2020, so probably not.
Milestones - none that I can think of off the top of my head

Age - I just counted on the calendar - 16 weeks. Ben will be 4 months old in a week. Updates - we’re having a major heat wave in SoCal, and last night we lost power around the kids’ bedtime. I had wondered if the Snoo was worth the rental $, and now I know because baby slept like crap with no power/Snoo motion Otherwise he’s great - sleeping well normally, lots of smiles and laughs, some longer naps lately, and doing great at daycare. I got out the 3-6/6 month clothes. Milestones - 4 month appt isn’t until the end of the month.

Oh my goodness, cute babies! Age- 15+2 Updates - not much different than last week. He’s been a lot less fussy during the day. Except in the car, but even that has gotten a bit better. I wish naps were longer. He’ll go about 45 minutes a few times a day. Of course just now he slept about 40 mins in his crib and woke up fussy so I picked him up and got him back to sleep on me and he’s slept another 30 minutes 😒 we started using the zippadee suit and at first it was awful and I ended up swaddling him again, but after a couple more nights he’s gotten better. Milestones - he’s found his feet and is super into grabbing them all the time. Which is nice because it keeps him occupied lol. Pic -

I had my first 8 hour shift away at work. I have to leave my house at 5am, and of course V woke up like 10 minutes before I left so I didn’t have time to nurse her. And then by the time my first pump break came my right boob was ready to explode. Other than that work was fine and it sounds like things went well at home. I think tomorrow morning I’m just going to plan to pump while I’m getting ready or wake her to feed her 30 minutes before I have to leave. DNW a repeat of today.

My boobs are so freaking sore and achy after having to pump this weekend. It’s the worst, only 9 more months of this...
