I was hoping the park would wear the older two out and they'd do quiet time while A naps. No luck with L so far but I'm just sitting on the deck while she plays. I think we will make rice Krispy treats in a bit.

Hi! TGIF. DH has to work tonight so he was home today. After we got the kids off to school we ran a couple errands and had a nice lunch at a place on the river, then picked up C. So today I forgot B’s snack; what makes it worse is that yesterday I forgot his water bottle (luckily they had paper cups he could use). 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ I even made a checklist to keep by the door to the garage, but forgot to put ‘snack’ on it! So I ran it up to the school and they got it to him. #MOTY. I think C and I may go out looking for fall wreaths this afternoon. I checked Michael’s but want to hit Kirklands and maybe Home Goods. I forgot to send a snack for H yesterday, luckily her teacher had some back up goldfish available. |

klong11 and tgrimes I have to keep my meet links not visible to students until my meetings start because I am not allowed to have students in the meet without me present. As soon as the meet ends, I have to lock it again. Maybe that’s why you can’t see it yet.

Work craziness aside, this has a been a week. My sister was diagnosed with Lupus, my mom found my grandma half conscious on the floor, and DH’s brother texted him that he’s getting divorced but doesn’t want to talk about it. They can’t figure out what’s wrong with grandma, no stroke or heart problems but she can’t walk. She’s being transferred to rehab today which I’m terrified about because Covid hit those places so hard and we won’t be able to visit.
On the positive side, DD loves her new soccer team and scored their first goal of the season, our home hockey rink reopens today for DS’s first official practice, and later we head to the beach with both my sister’s families for the weekend.

Dr. Thinks it's just a reaction but doesn't want us going to urgent care over the long weekend if it gets worse. So she's calling in antibiotics in case its an infection. So we start those tonight, if it clears up today or tomorrow we stop them. If not, finish the antibiotics. He got to pick lunch, so we had Mexican and then went to a playground for the firsf time since last fall. We're on our way home now to go swimming.

Last night they said she was going then this morning they said she wasn’t but then she did. My sister talked to a friends whose mother is at the same place and he said there are once a week visits outside but I don’t know that they could bring her outside how she is right now. |

Made it to my mom's and back. Now we're at swim. Of course Cadence is tired and this class will probably not accomplish much today.

Hi guys. I went into the office today and had a jam packed work day. I took care of a lot of back logged things that I didn’t have access to while I’ve been at home. So it was good to be productive but I am sure tired out.
This is the last week for the pool before it closes for the season, so here now w the kiddos. We ordered Papa Johns and the sent me a cookie pie for my bday.

Had Cadence's teacher Zoom. Of course she clammed up and couldn't think of anything to say to her. Teacher asked what she did for fun and Cadence replied, "Fun stuff."
What was your favorite thing about kindergarten? "I have no clue."

Oh and "The Nest" is apparently not up yet. IT won't hit go on it until 12am Tuesday. The first day of school. 🙄
The teacher did show it to us during the zoom and how to navigate it, so that's nice. She also said so long as there is some interaction at least once a day, whether in a zoom or just turning in assignments, that it counts as them being in attendance that day. So if she doesn't want to zoom for the entire lesson time she doesn't need to.

I'm loving WFH. I got so much done the past 2 days both at work and at home. Plus lunch dates with my girls.
I also got them set up on Google classroom and their initial get-to-know-you assignments done.
