I can hardly wait. WH tours resuming, with restrictions: But why all the restrictions? Don't they know it's no big deal, doesn't really kill that many people, and the pandemic is basically over???

so I'm gathering Rod is trying to save his own ass? or that was his plan from the beginning?

He decided the FBI was on a fishing expedition with the whole "this guy might be a Russian asset" thing and secretly shut down any investigation into 45* himself. He told the FBI that Mueller was handling it and he told Mueller not to handle it.

So 45s dr released a statement saying 45 did not has not probably wont suffer a stroke, ministroke or any other cardio event. And that any news reporting to that effect is WRONG and he is perfectly healthy and capable of carrying out the duties of his office while maintaining a vigorous tweeting schedule and golf.
Ok I added the last part

I've been thinking of you and them <3 I read on top of everything, it has been excessively hot and humid and almost no one has power This is true for south LA. My family is in north Louisiana and while there’s a lot of trees in houses still, electricity has pretty much fully been restored to the area. A big issue I’m hearing from my parents is that many people don’t have the money to repair as deductibles are astronomical. My uncle’s was $18,000. Lake Charles just breaks my heart. I don’t know how they’re going to recover.

There’s never been a hurricane that far north before so this is all new territory for the residents.

It was a category 2 when it hit my future BIL‘S home. Much closer to Arkansas than the coast. Like that is nuts.

This decision is enraging but sadly not surprising. Do we know if this is one of the judges appointed during #45's term?

The Twitter-verse is out to defend Cory Booker against bizarre racist criticisms from Trump. Shannon Watts and I are very much on the same page when it comes to the good Senator.

I'm watching the community safety roundtable in Kenosha and my head might explode. 45 spent the first 19 minutes campaigning. Then he talked a bunch about Antifa and that they are making tremendous progress on Antifa and building the wall. ::::headdesk:::

My firstborn is 8 today and this is our last week of summer. I'm not ready for either. My firstborn turned 8 a week and a half ago and I feel you on both counts. Happy belated to yours!

This thread is just full of super-sweet Cory Booker hugs. A good pick me up for dark times. I have big love for CB. And he is one attractive man in person. I may have mentioned but last year at our state fair he randomly walked past my family while heading to the stage all of the candidates were speaking at. I instinctively yelled out "Thank you for all you do, Senator." (my H was so embarrassed) He stopped dead in his tracks to tell me, "No, thank you." and gave the biggest smile and outstretched arms gesture. It was a real moment. I hope we get to see much, much more of him WHEN Biden wins. (<--- see me trying to be all positive)
