Took the girls for a walk after dark last night. Cass wanted to go on the other side of the golf course. I usually don't walk that side. It was a long walk that ended at the clubhouse so when we got there I called MH and asked him to pick us up because I didn't think the girls were up for the walk back and in the dark I only knew a long way home and not the most direct route.
But then MH calls and says it's gated and he can't drive up further so we'd have to walk down to him. We walked the wrong way and ended up in another part of the neighborhood. It took about 25 minutes of calling back and forth and sending map pings before we found each other even though we were probably less than a 1/4 mile away in our own neighborhood. 🤷♀️ Whoops.

As much as me having to work from work is going to be hard on my family, it is going to be way better for me personally. I need the structure of a routine, I will not be interrupted, and I cannot wait to see my coworkers, even if we aren’t really supposed to be in the same room. This is me too, only I’m back in the building and all my teacher friends don’t come back until October.

I started eating meat again a year ago. Idk why I've been afraid to tell you all. No judgement here! I'm sure it was really hard making vegetarian meals, especially if your family eats meat.

I started eating meat again a year ago. Idk why I've been afraid to tell you all. Ew. Did your insides turn on you? I had a situation years ago in which I ate a little pork for the first time in years and my GI system let me know how it felt about that. 😆 No judgment here. Most meat grosses me out so it's not hard to avoid.

ETA: first Tapa made a double post and then when I went to fix it, it deleted my post so here’s the gist: 1. I have no idea what my home phone number is. I keep it stored in my cell phone. 2. I don’t know which of my three house keys opens the front door. And once I figure out which one does, I don’t know what the other two are for.

We keep the home phone only b/c our family that lives overseas has some plan where they can call a US landline for free. And they'll email us to tell us when they are gonna call. Otherwise we never answer it lol. 2. that's something I would do.

And if my cell craps out, she’ll call the house to keep chatting.
