cagoldi wow 40 minutes is a lot for a 6yo! Maybe a yogabal would help too? inthekitty insanely jealous of how beautiful it is where you live! Great pictures too  . Apparently they are doing 8-2, with a couple five minute breaks, a morning recess, and a lunch. That is ridiculous. Seriously I can’t focus that long while being on zoom. This is way to demanding for anybody let alone a 6yo... I’m so sorry. ETA I’m also very sorry about the infusions... |

I host a monthly 2hr orientation meeting for new employees, which has now gone virtual. Based on the HR type questions I receive in the days following the meeting , I know they aren’t listening to a damn word! I don’t think 6yo could pay attention for more than 15-20min tops. |

Did I officially check in? I don’t think I did. I ran curbside pick up errands this morning— dry cleaners, grocery store, and Home Depot.
MH told me he thinks he wants to dress more causally this year, so he asked if we could sit together to order some things. Yes! I’m excited. I like shopping for other people.

1.25 hours left of baby sitting. The little girl is very anti Mallory today and its wearing me thin trying to keep them separated. And M can't listen to save his life today and I fully intend to sprint out the door when A gets home.

The big girls went to the neighbor’s house to play so it’s just V and me hanging at home. I’m going to be making tacos for supper tonight and my avocado is perfect, which never happens.

It's been fine! Obviously masks and the area I'm in we need to wear eye protection. I thought it'd feel so weird going back but it hasn't. Obviously it's a tad surreal but I'm used to wearing masks and such at work anyway so it doesn't feel crazy even though times are crazy! |

Watched Vivarium on Prime. Not worth it. Boring. Never explains anything even though it had so much promise. Watching World's Toughest Race and it's fun. Cass' go to movie right now is The Princess Switch--the Christmas one on Netflix. She's obsessed and wanted a romance to watch so I suggested that ane it's all she wants to watch now. Zombies 2 is finally on Disney+ and they were thrilled to watch it on the way home yesterday. wedding because if I remember right C liked the first one. I think we saw it already. Was it when the girl becomes a werewolf? |

Work officially announced we will be teleworking the rest of the year. I’m pretty sad about it. I feel like my work friendships are kind of just falling apart and it sucks. I have to go in Friday to do some inventory. I think I’m going to bring a box and take all of my shoes home. Not that I have a use for them here but you never know.

I didn’t even mention anything to Mh and when I talked to him this afternoon he said he felt like he would be okay if I didn’t come up to the hospital tonight. I tried to push back a little and ask if he was sure a lot because I didn’t want him to feel how relieved I was that I could be home and check some things off my to do list.
He should be discharged tomorrow, but I have to work, so FIL will be there to take him home. Tomorrow will be MIL’s first time seeing him in person all week, so he will be well taken care of while I’m at work.

My dad has been horrible. I woke up at 100 and had stomach issues. Since I was working from home I just dealt with it. Then our air conditioner broke again, you know a 108 degree day. Then both kids were not wanting to to take naps

chrisy01 I hope your a/c gets fixed quickly. I can't imagine that heat and no a/c, with 2 littles. wedding sorry about your news yesterday with WFH. I've heard rumors we will do the same, but I don't think they will officially announce anything, we will just keep going in limbo. I'm okay with it, but I do go to the office for an hour a week and talk to my boss regularly. I heard there may be a guy from NY (where the company is that bought us) next week and I may have to go in to meet with him. Seems odd to me, our numbers are still continuing to climb, especially with schools going back in session, so I'm shocked he's choosing to travel here now.
