Also, we couldn’t get Dennis the Menace to play last night, so we ended up watching Beethoven. I’d forgotten about that one but the kids really enjoyed it.

Happy Sunday. I hope your husband recovers quickly lahdeedah. The lake was so much fun yesterday but there was just the slightest bit of wind and it made paddling really hard. So we decided to buy the motor and of course it's going to take a month to get here. 😫 We're probably going to swim in the lake again today because it's supposed to be 100 and no AC. Yes! I started the daily yesterday and then never checked back in. One of the guys that helped us move it said they had a piano to move too. They had been delaying it but since they were moving ours they decided to get theirs yesterday. So the 3 guys moved 2 pianos yesterday. I’m crossing all my fingers the tuner will be able to fix all of the keys that are sticking. He’s scheduled for Sept 17th and I’d like the piano to be finished by then so when he cleans the inside he can get all the dust from me sanding it. Which of course means I want it all done today. Lol. MH bought a few piano books for us. (Mine is a broadway book. Yay!) M has already taught herself a few simple songs. She’s not reading music, just doing it by the number finger to use. H just likes to bang on it and tell me to sing bear hunt.  |

nam2013 I’m sorry you’re having a rough time. Those charley horses were horrible in pregnancy! Drink lots of water and try to get more potassium. How long do you have now?

nam2013 I’m sorry you’re having a rough time. Those charley horses were horrible in pregnancy! Drink lots of water and try to get more potassium. How long do you have now? I’m only 25 weeks! I’m upping my fluids and ate two bananas. Hopefully I’ll feel a lot better after the heats goes down & I can sleep wel for a few nights in a row. |

Greetings - waiting for the rain to taper off and then taking N to pickup her preschool stuff and do an outdoor visit with her former teacher/best friend. And also picking up a car top carrier from a friend to use on our beach trip next weekend. I just submitted my final paper for class and have a few other items to submit and then I'm done with it 🙌. I really want to drop my next class, but I think I'll push through and get it over with.

Hi.
I’m so tired. I got home just before midnight. Slept in just a little and got up to make the boys breakfast before coming to the hospital. MH is doing ok. He’s sore and surprised he doesn’t feel a lot better. Uh, hello you just had surgery. He won’t get to come home today. He’s still putting out a lot of fluid and just doesn’t feel great, so he’s staying at least another night. We’ll reassess in the morning. FIL is going to come up to spend a few hours so I can go home and I’ll come back later this evening.

Oh my goodness... I begged for cooler weather, well it started raining and my kitchen just flooded. Water was almost a feet high in my yard and up to the kitchen door, so it gushed right trough under it. I now have 30 wet towels, three wet sets of bed linnen and a wet rug and we’re preparing for the second part of the rain storm. Seriously this week can shove it!!!

oh my goodness, nam2013! Is flooding like that typical for your area? Hope it dries up (and cools off) soon. Nope, not really. But the irrigation in our yard sucks, 95% of the time it is fine, 4% of the time it is bad and water will come into the kitchen and then there’s this... we’ve lived here almost 10 years this is the second time it had been this bad. |

For some reason C is back into Power Rangers. He asked me for an action figure. I’m not buying anything Power Rangers. He had a ton of stuff and HE chose to donate it all about a year ago. No way am I buying it again. So he is all grouchy.
Prior to that though my dad took him golfing and to visit my Gram before it rained and then he went back to my parent’s house for a while and played games with my mom. I was able to get laundry, dishes, lunches, and some tidying done while he was out. It’s really nice that my parents are near and pick him up randomly.

Hi all. We declared today Sunday funday and took the kids in to the cities, went mini golfing, and found a new, huge park. It was a really neat area with a lot of trails so we biked a few miles too. Then we stopped for ice cream and now we’re heading home. I think we’ll stop at the winery near our house for a bit since they have live music happening. H is exhausted and fell asleep, L napped on the bike ride so now he’s squawking because he wants out of the car.

This weekend and pool has been a shit show. He was scheduled for last Sunday, but his equipment broke on a job Saturday. Didn't get fixed until Tuesday but he worked to late to make it out. He works for a company installing pools and is doing ours as a side job. Then he said he'd be here Wednesday, Never showed. Then Friday, never showed. Then Saturday, never showed. He got here at 11:30 am today and is about 2/3 of the way done.

My FIL went to sit with Mh this afternoon and I came home to get some things done. I’m at the park with the boys now so they can get some energy out. I’ll go back to the hospital later this evening. I am not scheduled to work Monday, so that’s a good thing.

Lots of yard work today, I am beat! We took the kids out to eat to a new (to us) restaurant that opened while we were in VA. Very solid tacos, margaritas, etc. So we were all happy and now the kiddos are eating Snickers ice cream bars while we count down til bedtime.
Several of B's neighborhood playmates attend the parochial school nearby and they are starting back tomorrow. C has orientation in the morning for her preschool and starts Wednesday. B will start 8/31 so he has a couple weeks...trying to figure out how to fill these last couple weeks with all his buds back in school.
