I have 2 extra kids today. But I'm feeling good. I started that mlm scheme coffee this morning. Supposed to aid in weight loss, boost energy and help you focus. Idk if its the placebo effect of what but I've been go go go all day. I've gotten so much done 😂 Tell me more! It works skinny coffee. It has an insane amount of caffeine but I'm not craving the coke so it balances out.

I'm sorry nam2013, I think families being separated is one of the hardest parts of all of this. I know it sucks. I know we have been spoiled to begin with, seeing my sister at least every 8-10 weeks, and I’m really sad about it, but this is really doing a number on my parents, especially on my mom (who isn’t in a good place at the moment already). I wish I could do something .

mwhip haven’t you heard the coin shortage was faked to force people to use credit cards so the government can track you (so claim the Facebook crazies). There are several business here that have signed saying exact change or card only. Doesn’t matter to me, I have only ever used card. Hope your foot heals quickly and YH has a good first day! Oh yes, I've heard that one. I never use or carry actual cash, I use my debit card for everything. E collects coins that the grandparents give her. H never uses change, just empties it into a big jug at the end of every day. We used to turn it in every summer and take the cash when we went on vacation, which was usually around $300. We haven't taken it in for years, probably 4 or 5 years. So I figured it would help the bank out. I almost laughed though when the teller told me she had to count it by hand and roll it, so they would call me this afternoon when she got through it. It was...a Lot. I feel kind of bad. Our bank has a machine you dump everything into and it somehow sorts it, figures the total and spits a receipt out that you take to the teller. I’ve heard that a lot of banks got rid of their coin counting machines. Seems like a dumb idea to me.

You know what’s super fun? Your smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detector announcing it’s 7 year life span is up at 12:45am by beeping every 30 seconds. I swear it’s louder than a normal smoke alarm. And then, we replaced the battery which did nothing. Good thing we have a plug in carbon monoxide detector and 2 other smoke alarms on our main floor to get us through until I can buy a replacement unit.

trtlcrzy I swear they do that on purpose. We have 14 fire alarms in our house as per our city code when we did construction. There is always one with a beeping battery and it takes forever to figure out which one.

trtlcrzy why do they always do that!!! Mine did it last week at 10 30 at night while my h was out. It’s above a staircase, my h can reach it, I cannot. A broom proved handy .

It is a real phenomenon - the smoke alarms batteries always go off in the MOTN. I had googled it last time it happened bc I was so frustrated that of course it would happen MOTN when MH was out of town and I had to deal w it all on my own. Anyhow, batteries are less efficient in cooler temps and most people’s homes cool down at night, which would cause the low battery chirp to go off at that point vs during the daytime.

Or they go off during a baby’s nap time and then the baby can’t go back to sleep. It’s the worst.
