We have C's appt. for ballet shoes at 12, and I really need to get some cleaning done today. B is after me to get his room painted; he really wants *blue* but I am struggling to find just the right shade. So we may be back at Ben Moore. Good news...our moving damage claim has been accepted. They grappled about a couple things initially but thankfully we had estimates/receipts. tgrimes how is H this morning?

Usual WFH routine here. I plan to go out at lunch to hit up the pet store, also stop by an embroidery shop to put the logo on B’s uniforms. An in-the-know mom, told me it was just cheaper to buy plain polos and have them embroidered rather than order already direct from the uniform company. Sounds good to me. It’s kind of rainy and grey here but if it clears up, we are supposed to go to the pool tonight.

Does anyone know how to delete the other thread i accidents started? I don't know that you can anymore. You used to be able to delete it on the app by clicking edit or something.

Morning lovely ladies. Early start today for me today. I had to get a vaccine, before babies would get a whooping cough vaccine at 8 week at the earliest. Since last year pregnant women get it around 22 weeks and then baby is protected for the first 10 weeks. Hopefully I won’t run run a temperature 🤒 due to it. I’m meeting a friend for pizza at her parents allotment tonight, looking forward to it .

I WFH today and tomorrow. Wahoo! Previously my WFH set-up was just at the dining table. I moved myself over to my kitchen's built-in desk. So far so good. Eventually if we can move to WFH at least 3 days a week I'll bring my docking station home and that will make it easier to get set-up here. Hopefully my kids cooperate and leave me alone when I have a phone appointment this afternoon.

Morning all.
It’s been nuts around the Vino house since MH’s return and today is no different, I’m at the dealership right now waiting for the car to get it’s oil change, this is the most time I’ve had alone in all of 2020! I’ve made good use of my alone time and followed up on all the contractor quotes that we got in March to get timelines for the renos.
This morning we’ve got the counter people coming to quote/measure to replace the terrible granite in the ensuite with the same quartz as the kitchen/main bath since we’ve added a little updo for that bathroom with counters and new tile flooring.

Hello. DH and I had wine and cheese night and binged Indian Matchmaker last night. Now I’m debating if I want to go to the mall. I haven’t been since before Covid and I was going to go but so many people are without power so I’m afraid it may be crowded. DH finally got his negative covid test results today, 13 days after he went!

kim22, I have not braved the mall yet. I've been shopping but to outdoor strip mall type places - for some reason the mall scares me more.

Lol...where they gonna go Nam!? 😉😘 We’re very much in task mode right now and I like feeling accomplished with so many months of sitting idle and just surviving. Although...I would like if he’d leave to watch some shows or something in the evenings so i can watch my terrible rom coms but he wants to hang out and chat over a cold beer on the deck...lol which has been great but sometimes I dont wanna talk 🤷♀️ I’m sure the novelty will wear off soon enough.

kim22, I went to the mall last month to make some returns. I found it to be pretty empty, and some of the stores had lines since they had to restrict how many ppl could be in them at a time. I’d say go for it, most likely you will easily be able to social distance.

I’d totally go to Paramus Park because that mall was always empty but all the stores I used to go to closed- Gap, Crazy 8, Gymboree, and now Justice and NY&Co are closing so there is nothing left.

I’d say go for it, most likely you will easily be able to social distance. This has been my experience here since we moved back, at both our indoor and outdoor mall areas. We waited in line to get into Ballard Designs the other day and I swear there were more employees than shoppers in the store once we got in.

Pw here...I'll stop after this one. The ballet-shopping experience was everything a little girl could dream it would be. C was over-the-moon. The owner is such a pro and we are now completely outfitted, lol. C has already laid out everything on her bed to show DH when he gets home.
And small world, it's the same store we shopped at when my sister and I danced, only with a name change. We've come full circle!

Hey. We went to a park this morning, and they replaced some of the equipment. The new stuff is a lot better and I’m less paranoid of children falling 10ft to the ground. I’m pretty sure it was around when I was a kid and safety standards were not as high. A local brewery is releasing their own hard seltzer so I need to get down there to buy that today.
