My doctor prescribed me Lysteda today x5 days. Follow up next week. If it doesn’t correct it, I have to have an ultrasound to see what the hell. Then likely repeat D&C. She said she’s only had one other patient with these symptoms. 🤦🏻♀️ yay! i hope it helps. if she's only had one other patient with this issue i wonder why she immediately jumped to "scab" instead of something more common. keep us posted!

I had my appointment with the fertility clinic today. Had blood work and ultrasound done, HSG scheduled for Monday and DH has his SA scheduled next week. Assuming everything comes back normal we are planning on doing an IUI next cycle. I'm excited and nervous about it.

Okay creepy lurker coming out of the bushes...sorry everyone 😬. onyx I had what is happening to you happen to me. I had a MMC and a D & C in early February. The first month or so following was normal. Then, one day out of the blue while standing at my kitchen table, I felt the biggest gush ever. I ran to the bathroom, and it was a lot. I called my doc, and they had me take a pregnancy test. I got a squinter or maybe an evap line, so they had me come in to pee on a stick (never did betas) but it was negative there, so I still don't know if that was a chemical pg or not. I got the same instructions you did to rest and take it easy, but the bleeding just kept coming back. It would ebb and flow. Every time I thought it was stopping, it would ramp up again. They said it was just my body readjusting. Then my OB put me on BC for 1 cycle thinking that my lining was too thick. It worked some, but as soon as I was finished with it, the bleeding came back. After 5 or 6 weeks of this shit, she ordered a vaginal ultrasound which showed that my lining was actually too thin. I cannot remember why that was causing the random heavy bleeds. She put me on different BC pills and that did the trick. After that pack of pills, we were cleared to resume TTC. It was June by this point. 5 cycles later, we were pregnant with DD, and she is a healthy 5 year old now. I'm so sorry this happening to you. That was the longest, darkest stretch of my life. I couldn't just grieve our lost LO. I was super freaked out and convinced something awful was wrong with me. I was terrified the 2nd round of BC pills wasn't going to work and then what. Fortunately, I had the most amazing OB. I really encourage you to push for an ultrasound ASAP. Tag me in here or PM me if you need anything.

That is great shellsncheese! You are going to feel so much more in control of your body and your TTC journey. Thanks! I'm so anxious to get the test results back! I'm assuming they will want to increase my thyroid medicine because they want my tsh under 2.5 and when it was checked last month it was 3.8. I've been on a slightly increased dose since then but I doubt it went down enough.

I'm either 2dpo or I'm going to o in about 5 days 🤷♀️. I suddenly got a dark opk on DH's one night off so that was possibly decent timing. Unless I'm waiting on a second LH surge???? Fertility Friend and PreMom don't agree, possibly because I don't have enough temps recorded due to being gone hiking and also losing my thermometer for one day. Will continue to temp and test and obsess.........

doublestuf I’m so glad to hear someone else went through this (kind of, also sad you had to experience it). I started bleeding again last night but I’m still taking the lysteda so I didn’t call my doc. Better today. It’s a mind fuck. shellsncheese I’m happy for you! I have everything crossed. @zweber you got this mama. Keep positive thoughts for baby zweber! Also super happy you found relief. ETA tonight is not better. It’s back. I’m fucking done.

I missed this. I’m thinking because it was because at that point it was only the second time when she said that so it made more sense? Idk when she called again she said “this isn’t just uncommon, it’s weird. I’ve only had one other patient who had this and her cervix was slightly open” and I’m like greeeeaaaaat

this worries me and i hate it. i don’t know why she keeps saying it’s uncommon. hemorrhaging after a miscarriage is A Thing and you are supposed to go to the ER immediately if you soak a pad in less than an hour. let alone over and over and over again.
i don’t like the nonchalant feel of this whole thing. unless your emotions are maybe amplifying the circumstances and exaggerating it through text. if that’s the case then i totally understand. and i’ll sit here and bitch about your uncooperative ute. but if this is legit real life happening, i would encourage you to please see a different doctor before you get seriously fucking sick and die.

@zweber I feel like they’re being attentive. I think they just want to look at all other options first? Idk. They said they’d order an ultrasound after this medication so it’s on the table. But that’s what’s weird all three times they’ve check me (the doctor and P.A.) my cervix is closed. And it’s not a steady bleed. I stop then hemorrhage then stop again. I think that’s also making it harder for them because once they get me in (which is usually next day) I’m not bleeding anymore. So she’s like it’s normal to bleed, just not in the manner I am, I guess. I’m definitely annoyed in how slow I feel like they’re responding. Tomorrow is 4 weeks. I just think they’re maybe thinking I’m exaggerating since when they check me I’m done bleeding? I mean even the ER doc was like *shrug* your not bleeding anymore so follow up later.

She said the other patient was basically bleeding into her Ute then it would all come out at once and over and over. So she’d stop, then bleed, then stop, then bleed. She said they had to repeat the D&C. But what’s annoying to me is I’m bleeding so heavy when it happens I can’t immediately get to the ER otherwise I’ll bleed all over. Last night H had to mop the whole house. And it doesn’t help that the ER is a 20-30 minute drive.

It could also be that I’m not aware if they’re not responding appropriately too. But also this is the third OB I’ve switched too because my area kind of sucks and they’re the best I’ve seen so far.

jesus onyx what a shit show. the bleeding off and on thing sounds like some sort of retained tissue problem. that’s what google points to. i just want someone to fix it for you. i’m so sorry you’re STILL going through it. i really hope the ultrasound is like “omg there it is!” and then they can take the steps to get you healed. sorry about my rant earlier. i’m just so scared for you because it does not sound safe at all.

I get it entirely. And appreciate it too. I’m over it. And I’m over doctors not knowing. I appreciate they’re trying meds before they jump to repeat surgery. She mentioned on the phone that she doesn’t think it’s retained tissue because she was certain my Ute was empty post surgery.
