Pretty sure all our days are starting better than my H.
He's already nervous because he's turning in notice today to his job. Walks downstairs to go to our garage and one of our dogs pooped down there. He cleaned most of it up. I need to get the carpet shampooer out today, that's the 2nd time she's done that in 24 hours.
Opens the garage door and the desk I ordered from Amazon is sitting outside, they must have delivered last night sometime and since it was heavy, they just left it against the house, not bringing it to the door, so we didn't know it was out there. Thank God it was still there.
Said he pulled out of the driveway, got to the stop sign (1 house between ours and the sign) and realized something was wrong with his truck...flat tire. So he had to change that. I stood outside with him, drinking my coffee, in my pjs, for 'moral support.' I'm sure all the neighbors enjoyed seeing me.

He's waiting for the official offer letter via email, but they told him when they wanted him to start, negotiated salary, etc. He was going to wait to turn in notice until Monday and I told him to do it today, so that he had an extra day that 2nd week, before starting a new job. The other company told him if his current employer tells him not to bother with the 2 weeks, they want him to start immediately. He doesn't think they will. Plus he has to offload all of his tools off his company truck, which will be quite the undertaking. Our garage is going to be a mess until he figures out how to store all of them. |

I'm here. All 3 of my kids are playing quietly together so I'm afraid to move. Don't want to disturb the atmosphere.
Everyone is dressed, had breakfast and brushed their teeth. Its cool today so I'm going to get the weed eating done. I'll mow tomorrow afternoon.

Ugh to the ILs flamingo. That’s something mine would do. “We didn’t know how long it would take because it’s raining so we’re here 2 hours early” but they only live 1.5 hours away 🙄 Hope YHs day gets better mwhip |

I have been organizing every nook and cranny in this house. I did konmari on all my clothes last week, organized my pyjama drawer, underwear, bras, socks, winter sweaters, everything. Been fixing little things around the house etc, calling in contractors to come and do little things that have been bothering me. I feel very ready to start booking my major cosmetic renos and move out for a month. It'll be like a brand new house. |

Yikes mwhip, that is quite the start to the morning for sure. I'm laughing at you standing there for moral support, MH would have told me he doesnt need supervising (not that i do that  )and to go inside. |

Morning. Kids had a dentist appt yesterday and i have one today. N has tball tonight and that’s all we’ve got going on.
I have deep desire to purge everything in my house. Every cupboard and closet I look I makes me want to scream. The kids are going to be at a camp every evening next week and then at ILs the following week so I plan on getting. Shit. Done.
I made the kids go through their stuffed animals and choose some to get rid of. You would have though i was making them cut off their fingers. It was torture for N to choose. So I ended up compromising that if they take back any animals they’ve brought home from grandparents houses... that would count. N was supposed to get rid of 10 and 6 are going back to ILs, so she had to choose 4 and my gosh, it was rough. She’s still talking about it 3 days later. Mom of the year over here...

Had my allergy appointments this morning, so mh had to drop Cadence off at camp.
I get to work and there are fb messages from him saying they checked her temp and it was 99.6 and they weren't sure if they could let her in or not. and that was all it said.
so I start asking questions....did they let her stay? I tested her at home and it was 97.6, so she' completely fine. did you have the air on in your car? were you waiting a long time? hello?
no answers, because dude went home and went to bed. why would you email me that and then go back to sleep? how about a full thought of, they temped her at 99.6, but let her stay.
ugh. men.

Well, I told him since I couldn't help, I'd be inside if he needed anything. He laughed and said moral support. Awesome. So I went inside, got my coffee and stood and watched. Then made a dumb comment about it being good it was his work truck and not one of our personal vehicles. Which I hope doesn't come back to haunt me since I'll be driving 200 miles tomorrow with Evie! |

Morning. V is one month old today, man that was a fast month. H has been a little shit lately. She wants to roughhouse with S but S can’t take it so there is a lot of screaming and crying. Bedtime last night was awful, DH was at softball so I was on my own. H gets punished for being mean to S...and then takes it out on S. Other than that, no real plans for the day. I’m sure we will go outside to play later.

OMG klong11 that's annoying. I would assume she was running around or in the heat too long before she had her temp taken. Are they doing infrared? I would assume if that came back high, they would take it normal since infrared can be skewed by other environmental factors. Anyway, I hope she's fine and had a good day at camp. |

I think she was sitting in the car too long with the air off. Same thing happened at swim last month. They say to wait in the car until your allotted time, then they take your temp after you've been sitting in your car forever. Of course it's going to be higher than normal, it's hot as balls here.
Now he's saying they didn't actually hesitate because it was below their max temp. wtf dude? next time just don't tell me anything about drop off because you change your answers every time I say something.

I have the school tour today and I’m excited. It never occurred to me to bring B since she is at camp during the day. But I guess it could’ve been nice for her to see her potential school. Oh well.
