The kind nurses and dr at our on-site clinic checked me out. I almost felt like I was going to pass out on the elevator ride there. BP and HR was elevated when I got there but was normal after they let me rest for a bit. Blood sugar was ok and urinalysis showed no proteins. Signs are pointing toward my thyroid so they ran a full panel and are sending the results to my OB. Results should be back by my OB appt tomorrow afternoon. Dr said to go home and rest. I'm still really shaky and weak.

Or at least comes back something they can manage so you can feel better! I never know what to hope for in situations like that.

mkrupar, rebeccabunch nailed it. Thinking of you! danvers that is the worst. Hope they showed up and you can connect with your colleagues. gamergirl good luck! CoachTsWife hope you feel better and can rest. I'm an asshole. I somehow accidentally hit a parked car. I called the police to report it, left a note, and contacted my insurance company. I'm just waiting for the owner of the other vehicle to call and I feel terrible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

People saw me so I'm pretending to leave you my information". Then you'd really be a jerk bag.

Hope you feel better CoachTsWife do you normally get regular thyroid monitoring for your pregnancy? I gotta do mine every 4 weeks. Yes. I had a thyroid storm (super duper over active thyroid) in 2002 and have been on meds off and on since. I had my levels checked at my last OB appt but that was 4 weeks ago, so we'll see what they are today. It does feel a little like when my thyroid is over active, but it has been mostly hypo for the past several years.

blackmamba,i hate that so much. It happened to me a few months ago, and i cried in the parking lot over it for a long time before i could move on with my day. You did the right thing though, and some people will tell you just to not worry about the damage.

Aww, thank you ladies. <3 I won't get results back until probably sometime tomorrow, but I have a good feeling that I passed. Drink went down easier than last time, but still gross. I don't know why I thought it was a 10 min time limit last time, but I actually only had 5 min to down it (did it in 3, go me!). Tdap shot wasn't as bad as the Rhogam, but both definitely sucked. My ass cheek is sore AF. Baby girl was measuring a little small, so my OB squeezed me in for a quick ultrasound to make sure her growth was on track. Everything looks good! She is on track for her due date, so so adorable, and I am in love. <3 duskymonkey GL to you today as well! Fx you pass this time. CoachTsWife So sorry you're feeling off today, glad you were able to get in though! Fx it's nothing serious and is easily managed. Take it easy and try to get some rest. <3 littleowl913 & moonandback141 Happy (belated) V-Day to you both! blackmamba Oh no! Sounds like you did everything you could for now, hopefully the owners are understanding. Hugs!

gamergirl make sure you massage the injection site for the TDaP and move your arm around a bunch today. I found if you do that, it doesn't hurt as much the next day.

So I guess I had a sugar crash when I got home. IDGAF, ended up eating a portion of my sandwich in the waiting room cos so hungry! Then I ate some on the way home and when I got home I felt so tired and had to lay down and ended up napping for over an hour! It was also so bloody hot! in the car even with the AC on full blast which prob didn't help! Just finished my other half of sandwich and eating a popsicle.

Today's been a bit frustrating. Had my OB appt and saw a new (to me) NP and I didn't really like her at all. She was pretty dismissive of some of the things I've been struggling with (maybe the beginning of sciatica) and the she said that my 28w appt was my last one with 4 weeks until my next one. So I go to schedule my 30w and the scheduler says that they don't do a 30w and I get scheduled for 32w and she didn't want to schedule me at 32+5 for some stupid reason, but I pushed and was able to get what time I needed. I swear I was holding back tears on the way to my car because I was so frustrated.
I also had to pre-register online and make the maternity ward tour appt when I got home (after picking up DD). Which is impossible with a toddler who wants to use your computer.
Sorry for the long post... so happy Tapa is back up. I hate trying to keep up mobile..:

What does everyone prefer for athletic casual shorts, like to wear around the house? Last time my Nike Dri-fit shorts were fine but this time they are just too tight on the waist. Looking for an inexpensive alternative to get me through October.

racegurl87, I'm sorry you had to deal with that. Am I reading right that they are making go 6 weeks between appointments? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

thatgirlrachel it's 4w between appointments. So I had one at 24, next at 28, and then 32. And then after 32 it'll be 34, 36 and then every week until delivery after 36w. I just thought bi-weekly started with a 30w appt not 32. I bought shorts from Target (champion brand I think) and they've been working well for me and they're pretty comfortable

racegurl87, FWIW my practice does do a 30w appointment - they start biweekly after the 28w appointment. It messes me up because I turn 30 weeks at the beginning of a 2 week vacation, so my schedule had to be adjusted a bit. They have me doing a 27w, 29w, and 32w to get around my vacation.

DD's quarterly speech conference wasn't quite what I expected. She's approaching her 1 year of service date as well as 30 months old so they talked about our options since EI only services till 3 here and then she has to go to public school/Headstart. I got the feeling they wanted to dismiss DD from the program BUT I am not letting her go without a reevaluation. I had to push hard for it but we set a date before baby 2 is due and got the paperwork ready to send to the school system should she qualify for additional services.
I can't believe how far she's come in a year! Last Oct she spoke 11 words (most of which don't "count" like dada and bye bye). Now she speaks too many to count, though not always clearly which is why I want her reevaluated. Chances are she won't qualify based on articulation alone but I'm not letting them dismiss her so easily without at least giving her a chance at possible future services. So if nothing else, I feel like that was a win for a rather crappy start to our Monday over here!

I just felt so bad- it took a lot to not ugly cry. It was just a crappy way to start my first day back to work after vacation.

They actually called with my results right before I started work tonight, I passed! So happy that's over with.
Tomorrow we leave for a week in the woods with H's family. His parents rented a big cabin on a lake for all (20) of us to stay in until Sunday. I'm a little unsure about how DS will do that many nights away from home, but I'm also really excited! Not sure about the Wi-Fi or cell service out there, so I'll probably be out for a while.
