This morning we had family pictures. It went really well, but of course getting ready was a cluster. I accidentally got a round brush stuck in DD2’s hair so she was a bit crabby at the beginning of the shoot. My photographer is amazing though and turned her attitude around. We stopped at BK and grabbed lunch on the way home as a reward for being good. Now we are all chilling in different areas of the house. I am going to take a nap shortly. I think we might invite some people over for a fire and s’mores tonight. I recently discovered that Walmart sells marshmallows with chocolate in the middle so I very much need to try those out.

G and I are at my mom's for a visit today. Just hanging out and chatting while she paints her fence lol. Also I'm thinking I might get her to chop off my hair. Not sure if I want to just do it now or wait until we get some newborn pictures done (will be doing them ourselves this week).

Speaking of pictures, we just got our family/newborn photos done this morning. Our photographer is a friend and we decided we felt safe enough seeing her in her home studio. I ordered approximately 85 outfits from old navy to try to coordinate the five of us besides the baby (who wore blankets). I’m excited to see how they turned out. Baby was sleepy and cooperative and we bribed the kids with donuts.
Today is our 11th anniversary. We’ve had enough celebrations lately that we’re not really doing much for it. My parents are going to put the older kids to bed while we have a backyard drink with another couple after their kids are in bed. My parents leave to head back home to the east coast on June 20 so we’re trying go take advantage of being able to get out of the house for that before they leave.

We did some of our newborn photos on Thursday. I did all of them except the ones that included me and SIL did those. They turned out so cute!! I still want to some more of just C and some more of all 4 of the kids.
We spent the day at my parents farm helping bale hay. My kids love it there. It was DHs first day back to work so it was nice to have the help too.

I had a real struggle trying to decide on outfits for our pics today. Now I get to start all over again trying to find things for pictures in a month after baby is born. I’m so glad I usually only have to do this once a year ish. Old navy is usually one of my go-tos but with how delayed their shipping is I didn’t even waste my time looking. I ended up getting all of our outfits from target. We did ours outside and the weather was perfect. Also, happy anniversary!

Thanks trtlcrzy! For Old Navy, I ended up paying like 20 bucks for fast shipping. Probably a fifth of what I ordered though wasn’t actually in stock and I got an email the next day telling me that, but luckily we still had enough to choose from. It’s such a challenge figuring out outfits that coordinate but don’t look overly alike!

I think the one in my mall is opening soon, I haven’t kept up on what all is going on there very well. I’m just avoiding shopping there until I can go into the store. The carters here opened recently and I like to get kids clothes there too.

I got our newborn photo outfits from Old Navy too! I had the older two girls in matching floral dresses and the rest of us in colors from their dresses. Since we were team green I HAD to order Charlotte a matching floral outfit as well. It won’t be here for a while but I figure they can all wear them on vacation in July and I can get some cute pictures. I also ordered myself a lot of stuff I didn’t need from Old Navy.
