Not much on the agenda today; it’s been rainy the last couple days so hopefully today will dry out so we can do the park or something. Yesterday we drove over to show the kids the new house and visited my sister for a bit. We did skip our school lessons so I need to catch B up today.

eta: Our stuff made it to FL and is being stored until 6/17; they sent us the shipment summary yesterday. When we moved 3 years ago we had around 12,000 lbs. This time we're at 10,060. I'm strangely proud of us, lol.

Same thing here today, just work. Evie's teacher is supposed to drop something off this afternoon, so she's excited to see her. I'm hoping H gets home early and I can go for a walk by myself, although they're saying we will get rain this afternoon and evening.

Morning! I finished dds class treats and made the granola for the teachers, I put in a little recipe card and a note. We had a visit at school today with in ds’ class, which will be dd class too as of next week. It was nice to be in the classroom again. This teacher really is the sweetest, I told her that she was very special to ds and she told me that ds was really special to her to and that she was really going to miss him next year.

I’m still a little scared to bike long distances, so my dad is giving me a ride to my sister to see her new house this afternoon. Burgers and sweet potato chilli cheese fries on the menu for tonight.

Not much here. More work on our patio. Demo was completed yesterday which was loud. Hopefully the new one starts to go in today.

It's hilarious listening to the girls talk to their caterpillars as if they can tell them apart.

Last night got worse before it got better. DD woke up a half hour later and the pain was back and worse. She threw up which usually ends it but she was literally screaming in pain. I was running around getting dressed to take her to the ER and she fell asleep again on the couch. I slept on the loveseat. C got up at 2 then she got up at 4:30 and moved to her bed. I slept 5-8 then got up to work. She seems completely fine now. We have a video appointment with her GI doctor on Monday. Funny Memorial Day weekend was the start of this being bad last summer. She only had 1 episode all winter. I really hope they can give us something. Sometimes I feel
like we make kids suffer in a way we would never do to adults.

The school did curbside pickup for the kids' belongings this morning, then Cadence and I grabbed Starbucks. She's really excited because she finally got her karaoke microphone from the fun run fundraiser.
I just made a father's day book for her to give to mh. It's by lovebook and you make little cartoon characters to look like them. Super cute. I let her pick the qualities and activities for it. It will get here before father's day, which is good because she won't be here that day, she'll be at my mom's, so we'll celebrate early.
Cadence has a one-on-one zoom with her teacher this afternoon and we need to go pick up her dance costumes. The recital is cancelled, but they are having a costume parade so the kids can at least wear them once. 🤷

Morning. It’s finally going to be sunny and 80 today! I am sick of the overcast and rainy weather so this is great. I’m at the chiro right now and otherwise don’t have plans for the rest of the day. I got the girls masks to wear and they were super excited. Hopefully this means they will wear them without issue now. Oh, I forgot to tell you guys. Our city/county has lifted all covid restrictions, which i don’t think is a great idea. I’m still going to be wearing a mask and being cautious.

Same old. Kids are already outside playing, and I’m on cup of coffee number 3.
We watched Douglas last night on Netflix and I loved it as much as Nanette. She’s a real treasure.

Hi hi. I filled up the pool for this kids this morning since it’s supposed to be 80 today. I was hoping the water would warm up a bit by after lunch but it’s still freezing!

N did the bare minimum for school. Her teacher hasn’t put much material on the slides the last few days, and this is basically the last week, so I’m over it. Hoping the kids play outside all afternoon and L takes a good nap so I can get some stuff done inside.

I was going to take the boys swimming at the neighbors. But their behavior has been atrocious. So hopefully tomorrow. We played in a kiddie pool yesterday and MJ was all about it. So I'm excited to see how she does.

I have laundry to do and dishes to wash.

Last night we had a birthday party for baby Emma. M wanted me to get party decorations and buy a cake for her. Ummmmm, no. I'm not spending money on your baby doll's fake birthday right now. Well, she was at my MIL's house and she found lots of decorations and they made a cake for her. My MIL is way too nice.

H got the wild idea that she’s going to throw a kids only dance party and give out toys to everyone. Like she wants me to buy a bunch of toys to give her friends. That one was a big nope from me. I told her she can have a dance party but that’s it. These kids have such an active imagination.

We were outside today and I could barely make it an hour, sitting in the shade. It got to 83 but I know this is just the beginning. This next month will be a struggle. I guess I need to buy a pool for the backyard that I can just be in at all times when I’m outside.

I also just remembered that we are doing another drive by birthday thing in an hour.

I keep messing up at work. I’m certain it’s due to my coworker but it sucks. Because of Memorial Day Cs usual small group for ELA was postponed to today so he had three zooms right in a row. Of course he was a mess by the last one and the teacher kept trying to get him to sit down or not put his head down. I’m not sure why the makeup time wasn’t later since she knows he needs a break or he will be like that. He had 75mins straight on Zoom! It was frustrating for all and C said it was torture. I ended up doing two of his three assignments for him today because I couldn’t deal with another fight. 16 school days left.

So I may be out of a job soon. I think the office may be going under. Or at least that is what some co-workers and I have gathered from the limited information they have given us. We're guessing maybe at the end of summer, if not sooner. We have an office meeting Monday, so I guess I'll know for sure then. Idk why they can't just tell us now. Why wait?
