When did you kid start walking?
We are almost 14 months and he is just now cruising and occasionally will let go for a second. He doesn't use any push toys yet.

Around 14 months. He cruised for months and spent a few months pushing carts/toys. He would never take practice steps. He literally got up one day and walked across the floor. He didn't crawl until 9 months. My little perfectionist...

He was walking on his own at 10 months, which is super early. It took him forever to start talking though, so we kind of evened out with the milestones.

Late walker here. She's very cautious apparently until she gets comfortable. Crawling at 10 months, walking right around 16. She's 22 months now and never stops moving or climbing.

14 months. She went from refusing to step at all to full blown walking within a week of when it started.

D took a couple steps at 11 months and was fully walking by his birthday.
E took a couple steps at 12.5 months and was fully walking 3 days later.

17 or 18 months, I can't remember exactly. He had no interest but then we went to Denver and wouldn't let him crawl around the floors of the museum. I swear he decided right then that he was going to learn to walk because we went from no interest to having it down perfectly in no time.

13 months. We had to trick her with game of passing her between us on the floor and then slowly getting farther and farther away. Once she realized she could do it she started walking within a few days.

12 months and 13 months.
But I've had friends who have kids walk at 17, 18 months too. Cruising is a good start. LBB's daycare had us do fingerwalking with him at 11 months. Might be something to try.

Mine didn't start taking his first independent steps until right around 13 months. But once he started, he got the hang of it really quick. He was basically running everywhere by 14/15 months, and hasn't slowed down since.

Right at 10 months. Getting her fitted for some good shoes seemed to help her. And she had a shopping cart that she loved pushing around, so I think that was practice for her.

DS was walking unassisted in his eleventh month. And to think I was worried because he was on the late side for rolling over

DD1 was first steps at 9.5 but really started walking at 10 months. She was on the earlier end with almost all her gross motor skills - sitting up, crawling, standing, etc.
DD2 walked at 14mos and it's taken her longer to get it down. She's more confident now (17 mos) but still kind of looks like a little drunk person waddling all over the place and occasionally wiping out when she gets too excited. She is kamikaze baby though, never still and into EVERYTHING now that she can move around.

DD- First steps at 8.5 months, no longer crawling at 9.5 months
DS- first steps just before 12 months. Fully walking any 12.5 months. He never crawled. Just went from butt scooting to walking.

About 15 months. I put her in dresses everyday for a couple of weeks to make crawling harder and that was the push she needed to get up and go.

DS1 was 10 months. I didn't think he was really ready until he randomly let go of the recliner and walked a few steps. And then there was no stopping him.
DS2 is too little yet but it'll be interesting to see how he develops on his own timeline.
