Its raining here too. Better today than for the wedding tomorrow. I'm curious how this wedding is going on, is it smaller than normal? Outside? I am not leaving the house, so having trouble wrapping my head around this. |

We have drive thru preschool graduation for Jack in a few minutes. That is if he ever finishes cleaning up his mess.

Morning. I so need this long weekend, though we have some deadlines for a rather large client that rhymes with foogle so we're all pretty much on call over the weekend. I have plans of more or less stepping away at 4:30 to bake muffins with Chase this afternoon because I am burnt out. It's beautiful today, I need to sneak outside as well. Cadence has her final class zoom this morning. Next week she has a quick 10 minute online meeting with just her and the teacher. It's all very surreal.

Happy Friday! N is on a class call. I just finished working out, waiting for her to wrap up so I can shower. I just got emotional reading an email from school about wrapping up the year (last day isn’t until June 3) and I’m apparently very happy for flamingo because I teared up when the diver showed up! 😂 my goodness. It’s going to be a rainy weekend off and on, but we have a few plans with family and friends. I’m mentally checked out of teaching and we’ve been doing about the minimum to get through the day. |

Our friends dropped by to say goodbye, their 3 y.o. Was like, “you can’t leave!” 😢
Babysitter is here now playing with the kids; so nice to have them out from underfoot. She’s going to take them for a bike ride and out for ice cream after lunch. 🙌🏻
I’m glad things have opened up enough that we’re at least getting to say goodbye to some people, esp for the kids’ sake.

School is closed for today, which, oddly enough, I'm sort of annoyed with. I'd rather just power through and get done earlier. Plus I kind of like the structure to the day.
In other news, I am seriously considering opening up our circle to include S Bffs family. We all get along well, they live 3 blocks away, and they've been good at social distancing as well. She suggested it a few weeks ago (when I did the poll here I believe) and I was not ready then. Since then, we've been pushing the envelope with them a bit more (kids playing in their back yard while trying to social distance). We were there Wednesday and she said she was leaving the ball in my court but she'd love to just bite the bullet and have us over this weekend.
I want to... but I'm nervous.

We're definitely starting to socialize again. We're playing games tomorrow with my brothers family. We had lunch with bil and his fiancé. Not huge groups but its so nice to see people.

Soooo I went PT. She massaged my back, exercises were to much for now. She also taped my back up. I need to get an office chair at home, a yoga ball and a pregnancy belt. It feels a little better now, but not much. Back on Monday.

jewels we've been fairly strict with SD but if there was a family in the neighborhood we knew was too we'd definitely expand our circle. I wish our next door neighbor kids were older so they'd be good playmates for our girls.

Hey. Lazy morning over here. Not much to report except we will be doing a dive by birthday thing for a friend after supper. My friend’s coworker is trying to get rid of some kittens for free and the girls and I are trying to convince dh to get one. So far he’s not on board, but S’s cute face can be a really good motivator. We’ll see. Hooray for moving day! Someone on my local Buy Sell Trade announced a last call in looking for a hardworking couple to live on his private island in Alaska with him. He's leaving on a small charter june 10th and says he's built a 5 story lodge and a few private cabins. Sounds legit. What could go wrong with living on a remote island, in the wilderness with no way to leave?

Ugh douchebag partner just sent a firm-wide email saying how lonely he is at the office and then individually asked us stupid questions. He even asked one of the newer partners how the work at home while being a dad thing was going. Uh, that dude has been in the office literally every day of this so I don't know what the fuck he's talking about. I mean, this dude was in the office the day his wife had their first child because "there's nothing he could do for them".
I'm so irritated by his dumbass.

He directed the "i bet you respect teachers more" comment to me and a coworker. Uh, I've always respected teachers. You're the one that sent me a "lesson plan" for my kid that was coloring pages of Willie Nelson and shit.
Not to mention you don't even know how old my child is or if it's a boy or girl.
I'm refraining from sending a snotty email back.

Our stay at home order just got extended to June 12. I 100% respect that, our state is really bad. However, our state has shown how shitty they can be and they've already had the most unreal protests. I need to move.
