MJ and I were scared awake by Tigger who apparently was left outside. Our windows were open and he clawed the screen. Scared me to death! And now MJ who normally sleeps until 7:30-8, was up at 6:30. Hopefully she naps good and I can nap lol.
What's everyone up to?

Morning! Sad the weekend is over. Looks like a rainy day.
Ok, I want to start BBM and actually do it all the way through. In the past I just pick a random program/day at times. Which one should I do???

Morning. It’s outside day for homeschooling, so I got the kids some buckets and sponges and the kids cleaned some outdoor toys. Me and my mom made little felt gnomes for Dd to hand out as going away presents at daycare when she turns four (next week 😱). Heading to the dunes this afternoon.

Morning!
Rainy here, too...this may be the tropical (whatever) Arthur moving up the coast. Yay, hurricane season.
DH is heading into the office for a bit this morning (first time in weeks) so I’m taking B to speech for the last. Time. Ever. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
My house feels so cluttered and torn up, I cannot wait for the packers to get here tmrw.

Morning ladies! There was discussion of starting 4 - 10 hour days last week, having Friday's off, since our production team is off anyway. But no one can seem to determine if this is an immediate start or when we finally return to the office. I'm waiting to hear back on that.
I bought a bunch of meat from local family farms over the weekend. It was so weird to meet someone in a parking lot and buy meat out of the back of their truck. But it was so much cheaper than the grocery store and I know better quality.

At my first job in Atlanta, you could choose b/n 8-5 M-F or 8-6 M-Th and 8-12 Friday’s. A handful of people opted for the more traditional schedule due to childcare, etc. but most of us had half-day Friday’s. I loved it. A full day would be even better.

I can easily make it work while I'm home. I'm not really sure how it would work when I'm in the office. It will make for a long day (although I think I'd work through lunch). I'd also have to figure out Evie's care with the grandparents. But she was excited about me being off on Fridays. My boss already emailed me and said I could start immediately. I'm supposed to be off this Friday, so I'm not sure how that will work, if I can cancel my PTO or what.

The girls start horseback riding lessons today. They are super excited. I'm sure that will motivate them through their schoolwork.

I worked 2 8s and 2 12s in Boston and it was great. I had Friday’s off with C but if I needed to do something that day or just recharge I could send him to daycare which was two houses down. I miss that.
I said something to C the other day starting with “when you were in daycare”. He was in the other room and he yells back “mom I’m to young to be dating!” He mistook daycare for dating. 😬 I wasn’t aware that word was in his vocabulary.
Nothing new here. We close on our refinance Friday so dh will be home tomorrow and Friday and there’s no school Wednesday. I’m so looking forward to a break from “teaching”

Evie's last day of school would have been this Thursday, the 21st. I've been pretty lax the last few weeks about making sure she finishes everything and I'm sure this week will be no different. But I'm glad that I only have 4 more days of pretending to teach her.
She has her math workbook and I ordered a workbook through the PTO, so I think for summer, I'll have her do a page a day, just to keep her mind somewhat engaged.

Lolz. I was looking for a campsite near the beach and the first place that was recommended was camping in some hippies' lawn. They mentioned they are "420 friendly."

I’m currently on the school parking lot waiting for the teacher to get here at 800 so I can switch out the homework and then head into work. I can’t wait for this school year to be over.

I was looking up airbnbs for a girls night and was was a tent in these people's lawn for like $150/night. I think you were able to use their bathroom inside. Nahhhhh.

Morning. We are about to head to H’s school for the drive thru drop off/pick up of supplies. H has a library book to return and then we will get whatever her teacher is sending home. Her teacher is helping with the handing out so H is very excited to see her. Her last day of school is Wednesday and I am so ready for it.

Jealous of those of you finishing up school in the next week or two. We go thru June 12th😫
I’m hoping once we are in FL—since we’ll be at my parents’ until 6/15 or so—I can use them as motivation to finish our work quickly each day so we can do fun stuff.

I think I've seen that somewhere else before flamingo, although I don't know if they're accurate. And who is using a solo cup to measure things?

I think I'm housing a Hobbit over here. She's either eating or complaining there's nothing to eat.
AF should be coming tomorrow, so my gut is one giant cramp and I'm not in the mood.
Cadence is taking her sweet time doing whatever she's doing (probably eating) before starting her school shit. Her last day is next Thursday.

I did saw some very pretty camping spots last year on tentrr, expensive, but very pretty if you like being in the middle of nowhere. If you want a little more luxery we loved the huttopia campground in the white mountains, we seriously recommend it! Also pricey, but compared to a hotel very doable. Plus you can get pizza, crepes and wine on the campground, what more can a person want?! canada-usa.huttopia.com/en/site/white-mountains/
