My labs came back as decidedly not APS. Everything is "normal," except it's not. I made an appointment with my derm to see if he has any ideas. I'm just really fucking tired of 2/3 of my body being bright red all the time. I look diseased. I don’t want to contradict your doctor or anything, but anecdote. I’ve been tested for APS probably like 10 times at this point. I’ve only tested positive maybe half of those times. The apL antibodies come and go. I actually had one positive test, then a negative. So the hematologist I was seeing wanted to take me off of anticoagulants (after I had a TIA). He said I didn’t meet the diagnostic criteria for the diagnosis since I only had one positive. I switched doctors, and the next time I was tested, I tested positive. Anyways, just throwing that out there.

I can't get into the derm for another month anyway. I appreciate your anecdote! ETA. I just checked the lab results, and she also ran several "noncriteria" tests in addition to apL and lupus anticoagulant. So it seems likely that the results mean no APS. I did put in a call to my rheum to see if she has any further ideas.
