School work and laundry is on my agenda for today. I need to vacuum the living room too. With Mallory crawling and now walking she puts every little thing in her mouth and trips over everything and falls. I vacuum every other day at least and pick up the living room every 20 minutes so she falls less lol. She's got her mama's grace..
More of the usual here. We have new carpet being installed tomorrow morning in the family/play room so we'll have to move everything out of there at some point (owner asked us if we'd do the logistics of getting it set up, and he would pay). Maybe we can purge a few more toys while we're at it.
Currently working. E is obsessed with fruit lately and could eat her weight in fruit at every meal.
My Hamilton curse continues. My tickets for this fall were just cancelled. They did extend how long they will be here until February and the new tickets will go on sale in June.
However Disney+ has my back and will air a recording made of the OG Broadway cast performance starting July 3rd. I’m getting up early so I can watch it before work #priorities
I've accomplished a lot of random stuff over the last couple of days so hopefully today will be less busy since homeschool and working is more than enough.
I dreamed I was at work so I think that should count as already putting my hours in.
The kids went to school today, they were elated. It felt weirdly emotional just dropping ds off at the gate (we normally bring him inside, circle and song time). It felt like his first day off school all over again. They were so happy when we picked them up. I had a crazy busy week at work, so I need to find some extra hours to work somewhere...
We’re halfway home. Kids are still asleep- I’m sure I’m jinxing myself. I have to work this afternoon. I need to meal plan so I can make a grocery run when I get off.
chrisy01 that sucks. You would think they would still aknowledge those tickets. Like let the cancelled show tickets be good for the extended shows. That's what some bands are doing.

B's class just had their weekly Zoom meeting and it was probably the best yet; his teacher did a scavenger hunt so the kids had to bring back various items. Which meant I didn't have to hover to make sure B wasn't yawning, messing with the laptop, etc. Ha.
So now my kids have continued it; DH said they get two more rounds then we're going to race to see who can put everything away the fastest, lol.
Cadence's teacher sent all the kids a flat teacher. It's basically a laminated paper doll of herself. Cadence is supposed to take pictures of herself doing things with her. Sounds annoying, but my kid now has a friend to do things with, so I'm seeing how long the excitement lasts.

Yay! I'm cheering for you guys!
Thanks! It is like the weird situation that was described here, split classes, alternating days, split play area’s. But the kids don’t seem to care and are all too happy .

That does sound sort of cute, but maybe I’m weird 😉.
The girls and I just finished watching the Disney sing a long from Sunday night on Disney+. It was cute. I will say that I don’t love John Legend with a beard. The girls have been extra emotional this morning so that’s been fun. This afternoon we will get out to MIL’s to plant her container and then I work in the evening.

nam2013, I'd definitely cry if school started back up. We definitely aren't ready here yet but just returning to some of that normal would be emotional!

Pfiew I’m not alone! I felt like such a weirdo crying when cycling away from school!
H's service plan meeting for his IEP is later this month. The school district sent me a document to fill out before hand by his teacher. Well, his teacher is no longer at the school so I'm filling it out. It baffles me that they don't have a document that is age appropriate. This is definitely for K-12. I have content areas of reading, written expression, math, science & social studies. Then i have to list areas of strength and areas of need. Ummmm, he's 3. WTF am I supposed to put in the science and social studies columns? I emailed my case manager and she said this document had to be filled out and could not be left blank to move forward.
I googled, of course, for age 3 guidelines and came across some great things in terms of social & emotional behavior, interactions with others and communication. You'll be shocked to know that none of what I found on google included science or social studies. I'm just going to leave those blank and then submit my own document with everything else.
It’s past dinnertime over here . They both had a blast! DD’s commented on how big she had become these last few months, no longer a toddler by any means!

This system is so flawed.
That’s just crazy. I would just put not applicable. 🤷🏽♀️
