jewels E for sure naps. L just lays there most days quietly. He gets rewarded for either taking a nap or resting. Today he will get chocolate peanut butter brownies that we baked this morning.

Hi!
Nothing much going on here. I had a lazy morning. We are boiling crawfish today and my brother’s family is coming. I was planning on the weather being great so we would all stay outside when we were here, but it’s kinda chilly out and I don’t really want to have everyone inside. I hope everyone brings warm clothes. 🤷🏽♀️
And I think M2 May be a little constipated. Since last night he has pooped three times but it’s very little- not the norm for him at all. I may need to go to the store for miralax so it doesn’t get any worse. I’m not well versed in constipation, but I’m thinking it’s better to be proactive about it.

vino Happy Birthday! I spent the morning crawling around the attic to see if I have any summer clothes for C. I had given away most things up to 2T before I was pregnant but I found a bag of 2T bathing suits and a bunch of 3T shorts and t-shirts that fit good enough for just being at home. Of course then it started to snow. DD’s class is reading Matilda so she wanted to watch the movie last night. T was kinda scared I think but snuggled up with me to watch. We are all pretty bored this afternoon. guster several restaurants that have been closed here reopened this weekend so fx your sushi will be back soon.

You know my life. We have to pick up meds at the vet next week on a totally different town so I will make sure I pass by an open sushi place. We’ve been doing sushi takeout once a week pretty much since this whole thing started. I just spent almost $300 at Trader Joe’s today, so we might have to skip sushi this week. We have been trying to do a big grocery shop every 10 to 14 days. And the bill is astronomical, but I’ve also never added up how much the little grocery trips I made in a 10 to 14 day.period before the quarantine started I’m sure those does numbers are about the same. We haven’t done any takeout, but I might be ready.

I kind of wish we were doing our own packing so I could just get started already. I went around and gathered up all our framed photos, wrapped and packed those in boxes. Enormously satisfying.
I am ready to get a move-on!

We decided to ride our bikes to the farmers market down the street. It wasn't that great so M asked if we could ride to the bakery. It's about 2.5 miles away. MH has taken the kids before but I've never gone. I really had to pee and wasn't expecting to ride that far, but I was outnumbered, so fine. We ride to the bakery. We get 100 feet away and MH's bike chain/gear thingy messes up. So I ride my bike all the way home to get the car and pick them up. . I haven't ridden my bike that far since I was 10 and I was hightailing it back to the house so they wouldn't have to wait that long. I think I'm going to die & my quads are on fire. Now I'm drinking mimosas & ignoring everyone. When I was biking in the woods with C the other day my bike made an odd noise and I started thinking about how much it would suck to have to walk my bike back since we weren’t in a place to get picked up. Sorry that happened to you. It’s great exercise though so I hope you got a bakery treat!

Went to the office for a few hours. One of the partners came in and seemed surprised to see me. I send a reminder email every week in case they need anything while I'm there. Apparently he was just there to throw trash in the dumpster and use the bathroom. 😒 If no one asks for anything this week, I may skip next Saturday. I enjoy having a couple hours to myself though.

Do you want a big box of 2T - 3T summer clothes? I'm literally packing stuff up this week and was going to donate it, since the person I was giving everything to is now too big for B's and me downs. I have decent stuff mixed in with crappier (day care) clothes but I'd be happy to go through it and pull out the stained crap.

The kids and I will hang around an extra day or so to get the house cleaned, then head south. DH is sticking around to do yard and the final walk-thru with the PM.

Where’s my flower/gardening peeps? I need help! I don’t do flowers/plants/herbs/anything that lives besides animals and child. So I bought some potted plants to try and un-ugly the front/side of my house. Ultimately, I plan to do a flower bed sometime this summer. Just haven’t spent the time to prep the area yet. So for now, this will bring some color and joy by my porch. So...on to my questions. What do I have here? The one in the front had the tag things that tells about it. So I know that one. But the other 3... 🤷♀️. They told me full sun for all of them, and water them every other day or so. I assumed the others had the labels in them too so I didn’t ask any other questions. You have a variety of sun loving annuals. I would recommend getting some miracle grow and fertilizing once a week or every other week. The vine on the trellis in the back is a black eyed Susan vine and is going to get huge. It would be cool if you could attach it somehow to the post on your porch and let it grow up.

I accidentally fell asleep and took a nap, whoops. Hopefully I can still get sleep tonight. I set the girls up to watch the princess bride when I was laying in bed, and they both liked it. S fell asleep and took a nap too. It’s chilly and rainy here, so good napping weather.

Hello, I was up late priming the bathroom and it took a lot of effort to cover up the dark blue. About 10 minutes in I realized I don't have good enough attention to detail to be painting rooms, but pushed through. We decided on a color and am about to paint that once we get the kids down. Now deciding on a mirror and looking at some blackout curtains from pbkids.
I'm trying to decide if I'll visit my mom tomorrow. I feel like I should since I'm not that far, but not sure if I am up for the emotional baggage of going. The kids had flowers sent to me today which was sweet, j almost didn't let me open them since it's not mother's day yet.

Too bad the weather isn't better and everyone could spend time together but outdoors or something.

I couldn’t decide between ice cream and wine so now I’m having both. I should be trying on the bathing suits I pulled out of the attic, then maybe I’d stop eating.

My grandma brought over brownies and they are the most delicious brownies I have had in a long time. I have had way too many. No self control whatsoever.

It’s been a day....
In one hours time S pulled a pan of cupcakes I’d just made off the counter, SHIT on the floor of her bedroom, and threw my phone in the pool. Fun times.

Little league just emailed that they plan to have a full season in July and August. No thanks, those fields are hotter than hell and if I’m allowed, I will be sitting on my beach with a cocktail all summer (who am I kidding, I will be chasing a toddler to keep on a mask and stay 6 feet away from the other toddlers but a girl can dream).

I went two weeks ago and she was a bit teary, which actually isn't that out of the ordinary unfortunately. She's pretty isolated since she lives alone. If I went, I'd go alone or maybe take the baby since the kids would be confused and or would need to go in the house to use the bathroom.

Happy Mother’s Day friends! I am at work and have already had a bunch of patients come in so it might be a crazy day. No idea what the plan is for this afternoon, I guess I’m going to be surprised.
