It got slow in a couple of the middle episodes but it definitely pulled it around. I think if you like pop music it would certainly hold your attention. Random but did you watch The Kominsky Method? No, Netflix? Older men? |

So. My doctor was running an hour late so I was there forever. I told her I had been having BH and cramping so she checked my cervix and I’m 1cm dilated. The nurse gave me a steroid shot and I have to go for a second one tomorrow. I was instructed to chill out, lol. How far along are you? And yes you need to relax a bit! Your doing too much! |

Oh yeah I was 3-4cm dilated with both girls by the time they were born. I can’t remember for sure but I think I was only 1cm at the 36 week appt with S. |

Yep, each of my last few OB appts, whatever doctor I saw would be like, "I'm on call this weekend, I'll probably see you" or "No way you'll need this appointment next week, but just in case we'll schedule it..." Yikes peachsmama, wasn’t she just born like yesterday?? How old is she now? i thought so too!! She'll be 10 months in 2 days. Oh gosh. I will say I loved preemie A being "a baby" longer. When he turned 1 he was just starting to sit up on his own, wasn't pulling up on stuff. Didn't walk til 18mo. Obviously we had our concerns but especially since I'm pretty sure he's our last, I loved having that baby stage longer! I say this as someone who was pretty confident he would catch up and not need extended extra services. I know this would have been a totally different mentally in different situations. |

Hi. I’m sitting at the car dealership waiting on MH to pick me up. Oil change and recall fixes being done on my car. Today I’ll just be cleaning around the house. What are y’all getting your moms for Mother’s Day? I need ideas. My usual GC game is hindered by everything being closed. My mom doesn’t care to shop online for her shoes and clothes and whatnot. I thought about an indoor plant for her to bring to her office from the boys, but can’t seem to think of anything else. My parents just built a deck so one of my sister's and I went in on a bunch of outdoor serving stuff since they love to have us all over for BBQs. |

Picked up my car and gave them all my money- ended up needing two new tires and alignment.
Just got called to work screenings tomorrow. They are short and need help, so of course I agreed. Afternoon shift is slow, so I don’t mind at all. It’s not great that I didn’t get a lot done today because I won’t have the whole day to do what I need to do before Friday. Guess I’ll start laundry now.

Today was the first time I have felt calm and relaxed since all of this started. C had no school today so I took the day off. My cleaning lady arrived at 9 so we went and got groceries in a pretty empty store and then drive thru breakfast to eat in the parking lot. Then at home we hung out. I only had to play with him a little.
We were in the basement and I needed to go upstairs and he wanted to stay down and play and watch his shows. I hardly saw him all day. I was able to sit in my nice clean house with a cat on my lap, no child, and watch reality tv. It was like old times! Well until C overflowed the toilet.

We just got an email from the assistant principal, who is handling the assignments for Josie‘s class, and it encouraged us to have a “screen-free weekend to celebrate Mother’s Day and enjoy the nice spring weather.”
It completely rubbed me the wrong way, and I rarely have feels on screen time.
But a) We’re currently in quarantine and b) It’s supposed to be freezing here this weekend
