The girls and I just watched homeward bound. It’s been so many years since I’ve seen it that it brought back a lot of memories. Both girls liked it. Now I’m showing them a goofy movie. I guess we are having a chill, rainy day which is good with me.

tgrimes Any updates on you parents situation? Hope your mom’s recovery is going well. My mom is home. She has her arm in a sling for the next 2 weeks and can't life her arm up over her head for now. She's concerned about her hair. I told her no one gave a shit about what her hair looks like at this point. The only difference right now is that she's tired all of the time and taking naps. She's still a bitch though so that hasn't changed. |

inthekitty I agree, I do not get the ‘hype’ surrounding Quentin Tarantino’s movies. Pulp Fiction was good but it’s old; his more recent stuff is not my cup of tea. But I feel like critics/awards committees and the ‘average Joe’ movie watcher are often on different pages anyway. This exactly. His old stuff was interesting. But now it's like he's trying to recreate that but has forgotten how to make a movie. Like a HS football star still trying to live in his glory days when he's currently balding and has a potbelly. He's a horrible director and person and I wish he'd just go away. There were so many big names in the movie I thought that'd save it. It was a lot of meandering weirdness. It felt like an old telling you a story with a bunch of random extra details that aren't relevant. lahdeedah I wouldn't waste my time. It wasn't even something I thought was worth it to check out once with low expectations. Lol...so basically Quentin Tarantino= Uncle Rico   |

I’ve been putting together sensory bins for the babies and I have to do it earlier in the day, usually. But it’s becoming a PITA trying to keep Armani and Pipsqueak from jumping into them. Nice way to keep the toddlers playing somewhat independently, though.  |

Kids are in the pool (this is our last warm/nice day for about 2 weeks...weirdest. Spring. Ever.) and DH and I are sitting on the back porch observing. I’m snapping green beans for dinner, so basically I’m turning into my grandmother. Way to go on the stroller sale slenle! |

Overall Maddie's assignments (2nd grade) for school are meaningful, promote learning, and easily organized.
Cass' are mostly a waste. Her teacher doesn't tech well so managing Google classroom is a nightmare. Half the stuff isn't there. It's mostly really easy worksheets that bore Cass. Whatever. I'm not wasting time. If her stuff is pointless I'm just going to say she completed it and have her do a learning app or Scholastic lesson instead.

Hello. Today felt “busy.” I got up at 5:45 to book my Disney Dining for a trip I probably won’t be taking but I’m really happy with my choices. Then my administration set up a drive thru teacher appreciation thing and then we went immediately to a birthday parade for DD’s friend.
Last week we had a survey about the kindergarten work and this week it was scaled way back. We got our official not going back to the classrooms this school year announcement today. I’m glad I had time to prepare so I wasn’t so sad. T’s teacher sent the parents one of those great job certificates by email today. MH told her I should email her and tell her to remove his name.
Our weather is crazy too. Yesterday, I was in a bathing suit, knee deep in the ocean and today I took a walk in a winter coat.
Also, my cow has shipped so tonight we will be organizing the freezer.

Now how can we get wedding’s district to do the same? 🤔 No thanks to cold and rainy weather in May. Bleach. Especially during SIP. |
