Watching The Office while doing insanely boring trainings for work. The last season is total shit. I watch this show for the comedy and fun escape. {Spoiler}having tons of lame friction with Jim and Pam is just lame! I don’t think I can click the spoiler. I am on the episode where Pam has the baby. Maybe 6? How many more do I have to go? If you're on the last season you're good, but if not on season 9 I'd wait. It's generic, but prevalent throughout season 9. Poor writing. |

H has been begging to do a fire so we did that tonight. DH took the girls in about 1/2 hour ago and I’ve been sitting outside, by myself, in the silence since. I’ll probably go in to shower and go to bed soon. It was such a great day today.

Perfect weather today, really the best. We went to a field and mh and j played baseball and then I tried pitching, and I was really good at it! I was really proud of myself since I was a bit worried I'd be the odd parent out of the baseball world. And N was enjoying playing as well and tried batting.
Then my parents stopped by for a visit which ended up being a cluster. My dad texted that mh wasn't welcoming (came out for like 2 min and I handed him a grouchy baby after my fam interrupted his extended family zoom), and then mh was pissed bc I let j play baseball with my dad, who sucks at social distancing, so lord knows where he has been. But I did speed clean our basement bathroom and storage area so they could use it without coming in our main floor, so at least that looks good.

Morning. ESPN has been airing the Ocho a lot on the weekends since live sports aren't going on. If you aren't familiar with the Ocho, it's weird "sports" like lawnmower racing, sign spinning and marble racing. This morning we're watching yet another episode of slippery stairs and the boys LOVE it.
It's going to be another nice day though not sunny. I think a walk is in order after breakfast.

Oh and yesterday we watched Thor out in Iceland break the deadlifting record at 501kgs (1104lbs). The boys are now practicing deadlifting random objects and yelling like roided-up lunatics. It's kind of amazing.

So as we were headed off to bed last night mh smelled something in the hallway by Cadence's room. He opened the door to check on her and she was laying in a pool of vomit. Awesome.
Then he actually asked if we should just leave her til morning. What? Then she'll be rolling in it!
So I turned on her light, she popped up and said, "hey, I had a dream I threw up!" Nope, it was real life kid.
So I put her in the shower, gave her clean clothes and put her in my bed while mh removed the bedding, sprayed it in the shower and then loaded it in the washer.
She seems fine this morning, but says her stomach still hurts. No crap food today. She's constantly snacking, so I think her random combinations finally got to her stomach.
She is currently building a cat nursery in the middle of the living room.
