April 11, 2020 She should've been a star, not just because she was a member of THE preeminent acting family of the last century, and spawn of the greatest actor of his generation who had one of the saddest personal and professional declines ever. She's also a relative of the most recent successful member of that acting family. She had a similar but much more tragic fate, which she had a ghostwriter make into a book and eventual film. Our spawn appeared in only a handful of movies and Broadway plays but critics said she had potential before she threw it all away. Like her famous father, she loved to drink which cost her a major Hollywood contract. They were estranged up until the last years of his life, mainly because her mother who had several aliases and occupations. made it impossible for her to see him. His death was probably considered the tipping point which caused her downward spiral. Her stepbrother, whom she was really close to, was openly gay and was subjected when young to a precursor of conversion therapy which sent him off the deep end. Interesting because their mother was bisexual. The brother soon turned to escorting and heavy drug use and died very young of an overdose. His sister felt the burden of guilt for not helping him. Later on, after she could only get work in summer stock and regional theater if she remained sober enough, she turned to speed and became a full blown addict. Several suicide attempts and psych ward stays followed The spawn was married a few times, but one husband she was glad to get rid of. He was a professional tennis player but he had a side gig. He pimped out his wife and several other girls to wealthy men. Eventually he was arrested for running this prostitution ring long after the actress spawn divorced him. Eventually, her downward spiral continued and she never really got sober and killed herself with a drug overdose before the age of 40. Diana Barrymore/parents: John Barrymore and Blanche Oelrichs aka Michael Strange/relative: Drew Barrymore/brother: Robin Thomas/pimp husband: John Howard Wow. This is one he usually saves for a Blinds Day. |

So we are thinking Friday evening May 29th for the zoom? I’m working the next day but I can be there. I don’t have a pro account so I shouldn’t set it up. DD’s Girl Scout meeting is at 5 pm pst which is probably prime time for the Zoom, but I can probably make it work if I just make sure H is there to help her.

thatgolfb, RHoBH has been good! I’m still wondering what Kyle is so angry about. Maybe some behind the scenes? Also, NY is my most favorite. I am really enjoying this season, even without my girl Bethany. Yeah I don’t know. Kyle has been fairly neutral most of the time, but recently something is up her butt. I really can’t wait to see how things play out with Denise. I generally really enjoy her, but Aaron’s crazy rant and her defending it, I was like 😯 I finally caught up on NY, and it’s really good. I think they are my favorite group of women. Just all really funny together. Even H was like “I see why you like this.” |

I was just coming in here to suggest a Blinds Zoom so I’m glad there’s some interest. Friday night at 8 central? West coasters can act like they’re out of the house at happy hour and have their spouses do dinner and bed. Or I wonder if Enty is doing a Memorial Day reveal. We could zoom next Monday? YES! Is 8 central 9 pm in Ohio? I think so. That’s a perfect time. I am also throwing it out there that we should somehow figure out how to do a Blinds Halloween zoom. Oh that's a better time than 8EST. 8 is prime bedtime. At least at 9 DS1 should be already in bed too. |

Flamingo wax strips at target are the best if anyone is feeling adventurous. I just got Sally Hansen wax strips in my amazon delivery today! Someone recommended them in....some thread. I'm anxious to try then out but I feel like I should try on like...my shin first or something? Lol. I don't want to end up with a rash or burn or something terrible on my face or lady bits. |
