I took inthekitty's advice and let M watch Free Willy last night. Apparently there are 3 movies. Who knew? She wants to watch the 2nd one today.

tgrimes yay! I'm glad she liked it. We started Sister Act last night. I also saw that Comcast OnDemand has a bunch of John Candy movies so I added them to the queue.

Loved free willy as a kid. Cried real tears when I saw orcas for the first time of the coast of Vancouver island, they had put a microphone in the water, just like in the movie, so you could hear them too. We saw and heard five different pods, it was amazing .

I'm so damn glad it's Friday. The week started out like hell (the kids were awful), but we've gotten into a better groove and I'm looking forward to relax this weekend.
The girls' new dolls arrived Wednesday. Because of bad behavior they had to straighten up to earn them today. Cass almost melted down yesterday about it and was trying to convince me to let her have them early. I told her it's just one more day and she busted out "a day is like a year!" Ha! True. Can't argue with you there.

Morning. Went to the grocery store early in the morning, I used to love grocery shopping, now it’s just stressful. It somehow turned me into vacation style dinners completely, why i just don’t seem to be able to cook a normal dinner is beyond me.

Oh, my dog also liked Free Willy. At the beginning when you hear and see the orcas swimming she was totally intrigued and did the head tilt several times. 😄 Lily normally doesn't care about tv.

Happy Friday!!! Snowing here today. I have a grocery pick up order which is basically the highlight of the week. My sister had a $450 order the other day though and they brought her out one package of cheese and nothing else. Somehow her order got way messed up. Maybe $450 for a pack of toilet paper, but not cheese 😂

Morning! I'm so glad it's Friday! Obviously nothing going on today or the weekend.
I need to meal plan, I've been bad about dinners this week since I didn't actually plan idea, just went to the store and grabbed shit.

A is frustrating me. Every week he moves money to our savings account, and he doesn't want to touch it. But he never asks me before he does this what we need to pay or buy that week. He just moves it all, leaving only enough for groceries and then gets huffy when I have to move it back to our checking account to spend on things like bills and necessities. So he gets up this morning and before I'm up he moves that entire stimulus check to our savings account. But we hadn't talked yet that I needed to pay some medical bills with it. And now and instead of moving it back he wants me to just wait and pay it out of our weekly check over the next month. Like no, I want them gone. And that was basically free money that we didn't think we were going to have. And now we can get rid of some debt. Let me do that!

A's company though, love them. They are waiving our weekly insurance cost during this. That's an extra 400 a month in our pocket. And they are ordering boxed lunches for everyone in the company every day. So no one is using a communal kitchen. That saves us money and hassel of meal prepping his lunches.

My kid woke up way too early this morning. I think it was 6, but it may have been earlier. She watched an episode of butterbeans cafe on my bed and I asked her why when she woke up early she didn't just take her tablet to her room.
I can do that?!?! Dear lord, yes! PLEASE do that! So she left to do that, but my brain was already awake. My body is still sleeping and not happy with brain.

TGIF. I think i appreciate them as much as pre-covid, maybe more. I am done trying to do all the things. We got a new table cloth and protector last night which is making me happy. We typically just have placemats on the wood table, but we are using it a lot more, so figure I should protect it a bit.
Otherwise nothing new here. I may try to see if there's anything I need from my preferred influencers accounts on IG, Amazon slashed their commission from 8% to 3% with a one week warning. Influencers are a bit annoying, but I do have my IG accts I really do enjoy and appreciate their recs.

peachsmama Have you sat down with A and shown him when bills are due, so he understands? Every month, I do a spreadsheet so H can see at anytime, what is being paid on what day. He doesn't pay that much attention to it, but he knows I do it and there is a method to my madness, so he generally doesn't touch our bank account, except to buy stuff. He knows to ask me about larger purchases, but otherwise, I control our finances. Same spreadsheet also has all our login information to every bill. Otherwise, he would have no idea how to pay any of our bills if anything happened to me. He doesn't even know the name of our mortgage company, let alone how to login to pay the monthly bill.

Ha, the last one has Bindi Irwin in it (Steve Irwin’s daughter). B just watched it this week—somehow we got a boxed set with all 4 dvds 🤦🏻♀️. He is suddenly into whales and told me he wants a necklace like the boy, Jesse, wears. Yeah, let me tell you what *won’t* be happening, honey. 😂

Morning!
Today in As the Real Estate World Turns...we had a showing at 10 and 2 more around lunchtime. I’d say we’ve been very accommodating thus far but starting next week I will be making some changes, sorry PM but this pace is just ridiculous. The driving around twice a day (with nowhere we can go) is getting old.
Kids are currently playing in the yard and I’m sitting in the sun trying to stay warm. TGIF!

Being trapped at home has killed my motivation to do a lot of things, meal planning and cooking being two of them. Also, I’m tired of wintry, heartier meals and am ready for more of spring/summer recipes, but the weather is still iffy so it’s tough to grill out, etc. I feel like my wardrobe and kitchen are stuck in transition bn seasons and there’s no escape! 😩

I was at Costco the other day and overhead that had got some in, but it was gone within 10 minutes. I wanted to ask to make sure it was actual Lysol spray and not Lysol kitchen/bathroom cleaner. My Costco is never that busy because it’s so new and opened right when coronavirus took over the nation.

MH is a mood today. He’s super stressed about school so he’s snippy. We have to rearrange some furniture once Josie gets her new bedroom set so I told him I don’t want him doing it bc it’s too stressful for me. I’d rather wait. Apparently that was rude of me to say bc he was trying to take a break from school work and measure couches and doorways, and that ruined his joy (not his words) So he huffed off to the office.

After each meal I spray on the counters and the table. I was going through a lot prior to this. now I'm going through it like crazy and my gallon of concentrate is almost gone.

Aside from the a few things supermarkets are fully stocked here. So I really have no excuse, other than zero motivation to cook or plan a meal.

Morning. S woke me up early this morning asking if we could go buy her a toy, when I told her no she threw a fit. I finally told her that if she stays in her bed for 7 nights in a row that I’d get it for her. She came in multiple times asking about it. The girls are playing right now but I need to get them started on their school work soon.
DH has been doing the majority of our grocery shopping, he goes right when the store opens on Saturday. He’s been able to get pretty much everything we need.

flamingo, that would be super annoying. The amount of showings for a rental (are they still planning on renting it or is it on the market for sale now?) seem excessive for pandemic times. Seems like more of this could be done virtually or in one lump open house time. I would be tempted to stop making any effort to tidy things up beforehand...if B had a giant blanket fort out, I'd say eff it and leave it assembled while you go for a CFA run.

My last online grocery order said stuff was in stock when I ordered, but when it was time to pick up several items were then listed as out of stock. I have a huge order (not just groceries, some other random stuff) for tomorrow night. It'll be a mystery to see if we get what we ordered.
