My polydactyl cat had her kittens. She had 4 and 3 of them are also polydactyl. But even crazier...they have the extra toes on all 4 paws which is even rarer. They are adorable. Momma cat will be headed to the vet to get fixed as soon as life resumes. And we are keeping 2 of them. The other two my FIL wants.

I’m not a huge fan of pound cake, cheesecake or red velvet but I’ll eat them.
Now I’m thinking about Bakers Square’s pies. They don’t have those restaurants in NY/NJ. I used to buy a whole bakers square apple pie in college and keep it in my dorm room mini fridge. I guess it contributed to the Freshman 15 i gained.

I love cobblers/crumbles. A good cookie is my weakness. Most pie and cheesecake I can take it or leave it.

Lolz. For M's science lesson it talked a bit about male and female parts of plants. She thought that was crazy so I Googled to find a diagram to show it better. Every single image that comes up when you type in "male plant" is a pot plant. So I'm teaching my kid how to make good bud.

Oh, and his doctor said he likely won’t have a 9 month appt since it wouldn’t be a necessary appointment, and she thinks the clinic will only be open for essential appts still in July 😳. I shouldn’t be surprised by that, but i am! So he won’t go back until he’s 1. A's 2 year appointment (turned 2 early March) got moved to mid July! Same with L's 4 year.

mwhip When Mh pulled the refrigerator out from the wall, there is a big chunk of ice on the back. Coils and whatnot not too dusty. Sent the pics to my dad and asked him and he said exactly what you said about letting it thaw out. I need to go find an ice chest and ice for all my frozen stuff. We have someone coming to look at it tomorrow afternoon, but my dad thinks that will be the first thing he says, so we want to start the process now and hope nothing else needs to be fixed.

I have been holding up okay - I'm angry on a daily basis about how much worse our government is making things, for sure - but I've stayed relatively unemotional. Then we watched that damn sing along! I started crying during the last song and haven't been able to stop. DH grabbed the chocolate for me as soon as the boys went to bed, he's smart like that. I'm just feeling hopeless and unsure how we get out of this and it makes me so sad everytime one of the boys says "in a few months maybe, if the coronavirus is over, I hope we can..." I hate not being able to tell them it'll be over soon.

joelies we're watching the singalong now too. I was just talking to my husband earlier about how even though we tentatively rescheduled our Disney trip for OCT I don't want to talk to them about it much because based on the governors stance it might not open to the fall, and then with the possible second wave...I just don't know it'll happen (or summer camps, or beach trips, or etc etc). They've been troopers, but it sucks to not know. 😕

I can't remember all of our little artists here, but Maddie loved Mo Willems' (Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus) YouTube tutorials.

C and I just bought the kids a water table and a picnic table to let them go outside in the backyard. C is going to clean it up on Monday and the toys should arrive either later that week or the following week. It was $9 more to get the picnic table and water table from the company directly then it was just for the water table on Amazon. That was a little surprising.

I made a strawberry pie for Easter and it was delightful. I like most pies, although there are some I’ve not tried yet. I also love crisps/crumbles (are they the same thing?). I like cheesecake in all of it’s forms. The one thing I don’t really like, with a few exceptions, is nuts in my desserts.

I’ve noticed the same with some things on Zulily too. I always double check now and don’t assume I’m getting a better deal.

Earlier today I noticed my finger was itchy, when I looked at it I realized there was a blister on it. This is the first time I’ve ever noticed it and I couldn’t remember doing anything to cause a blister. I googled and apparently it’s a type of eczema. I put some steroid cream and anti itch cream on it and it went away. Then tonight at work I washed/sanitized it so much that the anti-itch cream stopped working. I tried my hardest to not touch it. But, this explains the random super itchy spots on the sides of my fingers that I get occasionally.

Hopefully the tech that comes out can seal it up more for you, so this doesnt happen again soon. But based off experience, it will continue to happen, ours is at least once a year. If you havent, get the digital thermometer still so you can keep an eye on temps and get a head start on it before it gets too warm. My H used a heat gun to thaw ours in a few hours. I said a blow dryer, which I dont even have, would have helped too. Sorry you're dealing with it, it's such a pain in the ass.

Peanut or peanut butter is acceptable, all other nuts do not belong in dessert (but give me all the trail mix).

I hate not being able to tell them it'll be over soon. I hate not being able to give them an end date. Matthew asked his teacher on his zoom meeting yesterday when it would be over. I think he thinks that I'm just not telling him? But she said she didn't know but she wishes it was over to so she could see him. I cried.

I could of course male it myself, but somehow I never did.

We unplugged overnight and I was expecting to see soaked towels on the floor when I got up and nothing. The chunk of ice on the back of the refrigerator was gone and I could see the little water that produced, but nothing else. Don’t think that is our problem. 😩 I plugged it up to see if gets any cooler than yesterday before the tech comes out.

We also pulled the back wall off the inside of the fridge so we could see all the ice and know we got it all. I would guess you still have a chunk inside. They build up a lot, at least ours does.

What's a real kick in the crotch, is every other Disney trip has been a surprise. We didn't tell them until the day of. This was the first time we told them in advance and we were having fun counting down and planning together. Cass who is a foodie at heart like me was adding her contributions to the "must-eat" list. Whomp whomp.
