My concern in the next election is that with Bernie out a lot of people will either not vote or essentially throw their vote away by voting for someone with no chance of winning and we'll be stuck with Trump again.

Hi crazy over here. I just got confirmation that I need to go into work once a week to pick up any bills that can only come through the mail. But good news is I can start and end my day at home so I get paid to drive to and from work. I also found out some sad news that I can’t share yet either. I can’t even share it with my team. I hope everything is okay. |

Christ I know. I'm already seeing it play out in some comments from Bernie Bros. It's like deja vu. I'm annoyed at a lot of the democrats who ran because they took away from better candidates, but we're past that now and Biden's what we're stuck with. And frankly a moldy sponge would be better than Trump. I've seen some of the Trumpers rant about Biden being a creeper with dementia. Pot meet kettle. So a rapist with dementia is better? They are blind to their hypocrisy. If that a-hole wins again it would really make 2020 the biggest dumpster fire mess. His supporters rally even when he failed to react promptly to a disease that will likely impact them disproportionately because the idiots won't stop the mass gatherings. |

45 re-election scares me more than COVID-19. Not even joking. We have got to get that fool out of office. Biden wasn’t my first choice either, but there is no doubt that I was gonna vote for whomever is the Dem nominee. I would not be okay if he got reelected. The first time was bad enough, but I think seeing as how it was even a bigger crapshow than I imagined (and my expectations were as low as could be) I think that'd make it worse. It's going to be a lot of work just to recover from COVID let alone all the other shit he's done to our country. Another 4 years of his BS could put us behind for decades. |

45 re-election scares me more than COVID-19. Not even joking. We have got to get that fool out of office. Biden wasn’t my first choice either, but there is no doubt that I was gonna vote for whomever is the Dem nominee. I would not be okay if he got reelected. The first time was bad enough, but I think seeing as how it was even a bigger crapshow than I imagined (and my expectations were as low as could be) I think that'd make it worse. It's going to be a lot of work just to recover from COVID let alone all the other shit he's done to our country. Another 4 years of his BS could put us behind for decades. As to not being okay, I mean, people were mocking Hilary supporters when he won but we knew the man would be a disaster. And I was not a Hilary supporter, or a Democrat, it was still very upsetting to see a rapist who mocks disabled people and is endorsed by Nazis taking office. Those people in MI yesterday are legit right wing terrorists with their Confederate flags, Trump shirts, and blocking ambulances from entering hospitals. We are already rapidly approaching developing country status. It’s so much worse than I ever thought it could be. Homelessness increasing, people driven into debt and bankruptcy everyday from the cost of medical care, exorbitant fees for higher education. We have nurses wearing garbage bags, FFS. I think anyone who still believes that this is the greatest, or even somewhere close to the greatest country in the world is as delusional as the tyrant in chief. |

Horror and disaster are normally my fave, they’re my escape, but I can’t even watch that stuff now because it feels like I am living it. As for comedy, it’s looking like Idiocracy was actually prophetic. Many times I've watched Veep and had moments where I think wow this is less scary than reality with how they are portraying politics. There was even a bit about building a wall to block Mexico and that was before the whole wall thing. It's something that inane ideas from the minds of comedic writers became reality. |

snoopmommymom that is insanity for a 5 hour call! I typically have a few a day, but rarely longer than an hour. Is your h working or able to help? This is really hard. I'm definitely the default parent here and I do resent it a bit, but he did acknowledge he has no idea about any of the kids schedules/expectations and that I am shouldering the mental load for that. He then asked if it was better or worse that he said that...I said def good to know he's aware he's slacking 🙄. The Hang in there, the only way out of this is through it, one day at a time. I've started thinking we are never going back and this is life now, so then hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised if/when we do. 😂😭 My H is working from home too but part time. I am definitely the default parent though and I’m definitely not getting double of the time to do work than him (since I’m full time and he is part). It’s hard. And it feels like winter over here. I just need warm weather so we can be outside. |
