Hi!
The schools here have Easter Monday off, but M has to finish some math from last week. Those two off days gave us time to catch up so hopefully we can stay on track from here on out.
I went in to work this morning to do screenings and go back the next two days. It wasn’t bad at all. It’s 20 degrees cooler here, so not sure if the boys will get a chance to go outside today. I have e a few things I could do around the house, but I kinda just want to sit and watch tv or movies.

Currently lying in bed watching Hulu. Ah, now this feels like a normal work day. LOL
Cadence finished her work by lunch time. She then had to clean up some stuff and spent an hour bitching about it. She could have cleaned it in like 20 minutes, but nooooo.
She finally cleaned it and is now so Ed out in tablet land.

I said eff it and told Pete I need his help, at least for today. He got Dude a Chromebook and is getting it setup now. So we’re diving in headfirst tomorrow, I guess. Just had him do some reading and math workbooks for now.🤷♀️

Sorry posted before I meant to. Our teacher said as long as they have the lessons done for that week by Sunday we are good. So if L is more into math that day we do all the math lessons and just review again at the end of the week. ABC mouse has been super helpful for us.

So at 300 I’m doing a presentation pretty much telling the team they have been doing a certain thing wrong since June 2018. Two of the guys were never trained on it and really messed it up. Another coworker K and I just spent a month fixing it all up and I don’t want to do that again so I made a training deck and a quick guide. Boss B wants me to go over it today. I feel like someone is going to be upset because they want to be the training person. I feel like I work with kindergarteners sometimes.

8 hours with no power and counting. Good times.
Power company called and was like, your power’s back on. False.
My kids are currently ‘sword’ fighting with a broom and cleaning extension tool in the front yard. I’m sure the neighbors think I’ve let them go feral. DH went to get take-out.

Late day check in. The wind and rain were nuts here as well, only we were more fortunate than flamingo and the tree that fell narrowly missed J's car and just blocked her in temporarily. My FIL came by with his chainsaw and chopped it up (in the pouring rain) then after he left, DH went out and cleaned it all up. J didn't even leave late but it was a whole lot of excitement for the boys on an otherwise dull inside day. |

Add me to annoyed my kids piss around and complain about cleaning for a ridiculous amount of time when they could get it done in 15 minutes. Sometimes setting a timer helps.

Made Jack Jack Num Num cookies today (Disney thing, variation of chocolate chip).
The girls played with their tools and did some weeding.
They were turds about school so I didn't even bother today but they will tomorrow.
Watched Escape Room today. It was okay but all the characters were so annoying I didn't care if they all died.
