Working Wednesday

cagoldi - We had actually been pricing Chromebooks when Colin's school offered up loaners. So much easier to get around plus he can practice typing on an actual keyboard. He's good with his Fire but it was NOT going to cut it for any real learning. I think after this is over, we will get him his own Chromebook.

Cass: Nothing!
Me: 'Nothing' is not an answer.
Cass: Yes it is!

It'll have to be for now because I'm working on a report.

We got a lot done in the garage, but it’s still a lot of stuff because we have no where to take it. I have 6 boxes of goodwill/giveaway and a few boxes of toys to go through and figure out what we are keeping/giving away. We didn’t have time to go through the toys today. Once I go through the boys clothes for change of season and clear out closet space, I will do the toys.

My feet hurt after all that work. I’m also sore from my leg workout yesterday.

lahdeedah, good for you. I really want to tackle my garage too but don't know if I have it in me.

It took a while for me work my focus on it. I had been saying it in my head for weeks. I’m glad I tackled it, but also it’s not as satisfying as I hoped because I still have to store a bunch of stuff I want to get rid of. At least it’s better organized.

I think I’m going to put one or two boxes curbside and hope someone picks some stuff up. If not, back in the garage it goes until I can donate it.

I got a few fun things for the house like some big Montessori felt wall scenes as Easter gifts and I hope those buy me five minutes of peace on occasion.

Having my youngest being 4 helps. I still field taddling/fights all day but I can let them play in another room without worrying. I’m sure nothing will get done once the baby is born though.

I wish I could organize my garage. We need to get some shelving so that I have a place to put everything. Since my basement still is not done, half of the stuff in the garage is supposed to be down there. It helps that we have an extra garage stall in the back to pile it in. Getting the kids bikes crammed back there so DH can park inside the garage is annoying, plus we have an extra snow blower that I don’t think even works taking up space.

trtlcrzy we bought some garage shelving a few years ago. Ever since then, in addition to the crap on the floor, we also have a box of garage shelving on the floor 😂 (we bought 2, one set is up, the other is not). You my friend though, would probably be hanging those shelves like 3 hours before you give birth.

MH doesn’t park in our garage because of all the outdoor toys and boxes. Even with the boxes gone it will be a tight squeeze. I’m planning to buy one of those ceiling racks so we can hang the bikes up. I also want to get rid of a ride on toy.... or three.

Ha, you’re not wrong. I want the kind that hang up on the ceiling for holiday decor and then a shelving unit or two for things we need access to more frequently. Someday.

Right now DH can park in there but once we actually get the summer toys out then there’s no room. Super annoying.
