kim22 so y'all can't even have emergency dental procedures? I know here and down home most (all?) dentists are closed but we've gotten emails from our dental offices with instructions of what to do in case you have an emergency (from what it sounds like they can open for that specifically). Emergency, yes. I only know I have the crack because I went for a cleaning the beginning of March and my dentist saw it. She said she couldn’t tell how deep it was so I was supposed to go back in 2 weeks for that. It’s not bothering me, I just don’t want it to turn into a big deal. MH went to his dentist for an emergency because he was in pain. Even then, he only has a temporary fix for now. Our sprinkler guys are going to come next week to turn on the system but said they can only do it if we are able to turn on everything in the house for them.

I hope you and your family stay healthy. And I'm sure you saw they just closed down the parks too. We have a park behind our house with a long track - the boys have been riding their bikes around it every day. No one else is there and if there is anyone, they know to move off the track and wait for them to pass. This will be tough on S mental health b/c that is literally his favorite part of every day

Hey. It’s glorious outside today. Shorts and sandals weather. We’re hanging out outside until it’s time to leave for the chiropractor. The package I ordered 2.5 weeks ago from old navy finally arrived. Only other thing on the schedule for today is laundry and work tonight. I’m curious- what is shorts and sandals temperature to you? I just started putting my flip flops on to go check the mail and such and it’s been 80s here a lot lately. It is currently 75, I would consider that kind of weather at 70+.

I’m jealous of everyone who can still have people come to your house or go places such as chiropractors. My appointment to get a cracked tooth fixed on March 17th got canceled and the tooth will probably be beyond repair before I can do anything about it. We are over 500 cases in my city alone. A family in my neighborhood all have it, including several children and they could not even get one dose of Tylenol between them. I keep asking how is this America in 2020? That’s awful. Dentists here are open for emergencies and a cracked tooth is an emergency to me. I believe the last time I checked that my state is either the lowest or one of the lowest in positive cases. There have been 4 or 5 deaths.

lahdeedah, not 🐢, but for me 60s is flipflop weather. It was 61 here yesterday evening. The girls insisted I get their summer clothes down, wore shorts, and sprayed each other with the hose. They have kid strength so i don't go that far, but I almost changed into shorts. I’m shivering just reading about getting wet while it’s in the 60s. 😨 I probably won’t be in shorts until it’s consistently in the 90s here. Lol. We do have the AC on though (set at 75), and if I’m in shorts outside, as soon as I come in I’m cold. When I’m home I live in leggings though. If I’m going somewhere, it’s workout leggings. If I’m not going anywhere it’s cotton maternity leggings from my last pregnancy with M2. They have a low band, so they don’t feel like maternity leggings and they are comfortable AF. Summers here are usually 80s for the most part, 90s for a couple weeks at the end of July/early august, 100+ is rare. So it’s all relative.

I have never had anything like that so I wasn't sure if a crack was considered an emergency. My mom has a temporary crown on right now so just has to wait a bit longer for the permanent one. As far as people coming and going from the house, we *have* to move and this stuff has to be done, so yeah, I'm grateful we can get people out to us. So far we've had the chimney sweep and a rep from the moving company. Both wore fresh gloves, and of course the sweep wears a respirator anyway. But things are not bad here so I can understand why we have a bit more wiggle room.

60s and above is flip flop weather to me. It's 74 here today, we are all in shorts, H and E are both in tank tops. It was a long winter. We had ice and lower 30s temps just Friday, so we really enjoy spring temps in KS!

Its 74 here today so we rode bikes and I walked with MJ in the stroller. Then we took a golf cart ride to give the chickens some bread. My mom yelled at us from the patio door. We normally see her every day and most days multiple times so its been hard on the boys. It helped to see her.

But things are not bad here so I can understand why we have a bit more wiggle room. I’m lucky that I have only had one cavity and it was while I was pregnant with C and no other dental problems besides braces when I was a kid so a crack was upsetting to me even though it hopefully won’t end up being a big deal.

I did go to the cdc website to see at what point we can see her. Its 3 days after symptoms are gone. I'll probably wait longer. Especially if my dad ends up with it.

It is currently 75, I would consider that kind of weather at 70+. This is where I am here in VA. In FL I'd be in pants b/c with the humidity 70 feels cooler there. Also, our 'cold' weather is relative so 70 and below is a chance to wear your fall/winter stuff 75+ I'm in open-toe shoes and I'd say 80 and up I'll wear shorts.

Josie just asked us to vote on what we would watch tonight. I asked her if she learned about voting from Daniel Tiger, and she yelled back at me , “No, I learned from Susan B. Anthony!” Thank you, PBS kids!

So one of my bosses said this has proved I can work from home and are discussing letting me work from home up 2 days after this is all said and done. They like the idea of me getting more work done without the other distracting me.

On a positive note, I did make that cheesecake yesterday and though it did not look good, it tastes amazing. Can’t wait to have another piece tonight.

My gastro appointment got cancelled, but my allergy shot appt is still set for this Thursday. My H got his allergy shot yesterday. They did it as a drive up. They came out and gave it to him in his truck, made him wait 20 minutes and sent him on his way.

I have a spring-form pan but it's been years since I've made one b/c it's not DH's favorite. I should remedy this.

That's great news on all accounts chrisy01! kim22 yum! There's this ridiculous Tasty video that pops up on my FB feed periodically. It's how to fix baking fails and most of them are really stupid. Their suggestion for cracked cheesecake was to spread a thick mixture of sugar and sour cream across the top like frosting and then to swirl in jam. It looked so gross.

I agree to the jam being gross, but that sour cream and sugar mixture is amazing for the cheesecake. The pumpkin one I made for the last two thanksgivings have it on top and it provides the necessary tartness to cut the sweet. Amazing.
