Going out for milkshakes after dinner tonight because someone finally pooped on the potty 💩!
And that bitter nail polish made j actually bite his nails more somehow. He asked for real nail polish, so maybe we will try that next?
Not much new otherwise. Kind of slammed at work, so need to get cracking.

After all the talk of activities for our kids, I think I need some kind of chart of cheapest activity to stroke inducing expensive.
What's the cheapest? Soccer or basketball maybe? Golf most expensive? Where does everything else fall?

Lol, I should probably sit H on the potty instead of letting him stand naked next to the tub while it fills. He pees on my leg every.single.time. That's exactly why we put him on, you take his diaper off and he's like a damn fountain!! He actually kept trying to stand up - he's obsessed with this new "walking" thing - so we had to keep gently pushing him back down. Either that or prepare to bleach the floor. C has stood up while in the bath and will just let a stream go. I am like - really, you had to stand up so we could all see that? No shame.

DH got the carseat I sent him for. And bought the warranty. This is why I do things myself.

Morning all!
Just relaxing a bit after a morning of getting a couple car quotes to get my car fixed. Once I get them back i'll decide how I want to deal with her, either cash or insurance. I'm fixing another part of the bumper since they need to take it off anyways to fix what she did, so I need to decide how much I want her to be responsible for.
But now I'm sitting listening to my deck builder belt out songs from the radio while I eat my mid morning snack while J naps. I'm gonna miss the company when he's gone, lol.

No. I don't think it's necessary and was an extra $20

Morning! I have been cleaning my office up this morning because my Chief's retirement party is today. So there are going to be lots of people in our office today. I don't want them to see what a mess my desk usually is! I have hid my "to be filed" pile that is about 15" tall! That's embarrassing! I was just assigned to a new supervisor since my H got the temporary Chief job. He can't supervise me so they moved me under our Deputy Superintendent for the next 3 months.

No. I don't think it's necessary and was an extra $20 $20 isn't too bad. At least he saved you the trip of going and getting it. I probably would have had to explicitly say "don't get the warranty" for mh not to get it.

We just got back from the casino. We left $300 richer and had a great time. Tonight we are doing dinner and a movie and then we pick up C tomorrow afternoon. Although I feel a little bad because my SIL picked her girls up this morning and I thought they were picking up tonight. I want to just get C now but I know my in laws want alone time with him and Dh wants more alone time as well. i miss him terribly though. I'm sure by tomorrow night I'll be signing a different tune!

I let Charlie run around diaper-less every morning for a little over an hour. He has such sensitive skin they he needs the time to air out. I'm on guard the whole time.

Re: telling mh specific things and asking a million questions. After our fight last week, he's been taking so much more initiative. I think it'll keep up bc he knows it's not just for my sake that he's doing it. ETA: clarity

Hi from Day 1 of the hostage crisis...headed to lunch. At 1. B is dying and I'm approaching hangry levels. Re: activities, B did soccer this spring and he's done swim lessons. I'm kind of into one activity per kid per season, especially at this age. I know that will change as they get older. csho I think the more private/individual the lesson or activity, the more expensive. Any team sport like soccer will be more reasonable. B will start golf lessons next year; they're reasonable enough for a small group lesson for young kids but price goes up as they get older and want/need more individual attention.

Good thing for your quick reflexes trtlcrzy! And maybe that pool needs a more attentive lifeguard =/ They rotate lifeguards every hour or something so they do change. The one that was there kept yelling at kids on the slide so you'd think she would have been on top of it.

Golf most expensive? Where does everything else fall? I'm not sure what is most expensive but I'm pretty sure hockey is up there. There's expensive equipment to buy, etc. kim22 could probably speak to that better.

I looked into swim classes and they finally have something that will work as long as I have someone to watch Jack. With DH work schedule changing so much, I have to make sure my mom didn't volunteer for any Saturdays.

Last night we finished Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. We watched the first one on the 4th since it's kind of an American Institution. The girls loved them. When the snake slithered out of a skeleton's mouth Maddie's response was "Ew!!!...can you replay that part?" A new generation of fans. I've got Cassie saying "No time for love Dr. Jones!"

When H did swim lessons a couple weeks ago I just had S hang with me because it didn't require me to be in the water.

We have been watching a movie each afternoon to have a little downtime. Josie cries multiple times throughout the movie -- she's so sensitive to the characters' actions. We are ten minutes into Brave and she's bawling bc "it's so sad; it's hard for Merida!"

I'm not sure how he'll do and I want to have the option to be more hands on if he requires it. They are 6 week sessions. I'm hoping after one or two I can move him to the solo classes and do Jack in the parent ones while Matthew does his. Matthew has a healthy level of fear around water so like he won't just jump right in without his puddle jumper or us right there. Jack has NONE! He just lunges in no matter what. I'm hoping to start him earlier for this reason.

nam2013 how did it go with the feeding therapist? Hi, thanks for asking. She explained how she works and it's quite extensive (video taping at home, 3 diagnostic sessions, feeding journals) and requires a lot of work on our part as well (which is fine). She going on vacation 10 days from now and when she's back we're going on vacation for three weeks, so we decided to start when we're back home. Otherwise we feel it would be such a weird and incoherent start for ds. I'm stupidly still hoping it will resolve itself.

Cher how's Friday treating you? Ok. We're driving to the beach right now. We only have three weekends left down there before I'm scared to be that far away from home.

Golf most expensive? Where does everything else fall? Hockey is so expensive. I just asked MH, he said golf really isn't expensive once you buy clubs and shoes. He said think of the sports where you need all the equipment: hockey, football, lacrosse, that's where you shell out the $$$.
