Day 1 of full time WFH for me. Happy happy joy joy.

Morning! Day 2 of Evie having a 101.5 fever. It goes down when i give her Motrin, so I'm not too worried, but it's weird.

I think my work will continue to slow up. A lot of people have requested FMLA paperwork because they don't want to come in. I'm glad they're taking it seriously since the VP of Ops (the mask hoarder) isn't.

I dug out our Wii yesterday afternoon. Evie loves it...even H played some games with her last night. It was a good distraction and at least gets her off her tablet watching stupid YouTube videos. I ordered 16 more games off Ebay last night since I don't have that many. I'm hoping she naps so I can play some Super Mario Bros!

mwhip I'm going to commandeer the Switch for at least a little bit today to try out a fitness boxing game. Then the girls and I can play Just Dance 2020. So much fun.

FYI, there are YouTube videos of Just Dance so your kids can "play" without a video game system and get out energy. It's hilarious to watch.

Morning. I ran (well not literally of course) in to a mom that lives around the corner, ds and her son go to the same school at the play area. It was just us there, we kept our distance and let the kids play for a bit, she brought a soccer ball and we brought a huge jumping/skipping (?) rope so they had a bit of fun while staying apart. It was nice to see the kids having fun, a sliver of normality.

We had school this morning, we made little sharks out of clothes pegs, drew the sea on paper and then made a little movie clip, the kids loved it!

I'm the only one at the office. It's glorious. Hopefully I'll get a bunch of work done since my work production while at home is not ideal.

We need to do school work and I need to clean. I also have to deposit payroll today instead of tomorrow because I'm watching 2 kids tomorrow and I dont want to deal with installing car seats and doing an hour worth of driving with 5 kids in the car....

C just came running into the dining room at full speed yelling, “don’t believe me, just watch!” 😂😂 We haven’t listened to Bruno Mars in awhile but apparently he made an impression!

Just school work on the agenda here today. DH made us waffles and mimosas for breakfast so that was a nice way to start the morning. The inspection on the new house came back pretty clean so things should keep moving forward on that front.

Morning. I went to work for a couple hours yesterday to do the entry screenings. It wasn’t bad at all since the hospital isn’t letting in visitors unless absolutely necessary. I go in again this afternoon to do it again.

We talked to my SIL, who is a doc in a hospital, last night and she told us she had a meltdown about everything. Some other doctors have been sent home with symptoms and it got to her. But yet, she is going to have an elective colonoscopy and EGD Thursday. 🤔 Don’t understand why she wouldn’t just reschedule it for a later date.

Josie was in go go go mood this morning, so I let her get a day ahead in work, and now she’s exhausted and watching tv.
I just made smoothies before my bananas go bad, and placing an Instacart order for next week.

Does anyone do gel nails at home? Is there something I can buy to do my own? I have the skill set of a 7 year old.

I do not do gel nails at home, but they sell kits at Sally’s (and I’m sure on amazon). My friend has one and it’s really not hard at all. You just have to be very careful to not get it onto any skin.

Morning. S ended up in my bed last night where her ear proceeded to drain all over the fresh sheets and pillowcases I put on yesterday. It’s still draining some so I’m making her lay on the couch with a washcloth under her head. Fever is pretty low now, so that’s positive. We haven’t done anything productive this morning, I need to get H on her schoolwork after lunch. I got results back and I’m negative for the flu and covid. I still have the weird symptoms though so who knows what’s going on with my body. Hopefully they’re gone by Friday so I can work this weekend.

I used to do mine myself.  It's just like painting your nails, except multiple coats and the lamp.  Look on Groupon, they used to have discounts on the light with polish for good prices.

April 10-19 was our Spring Break so I’m not shocked. They have a ton of kids who parents work where I work (like 80%) and I heard they were waiting to hear what my company is doing so I’m a little shocked they already announced since work hasn’t.

I can’t believe it’s been two years since they moved. They’re happy in FL. Mom feels overwhelmed with her 6 year-old, 2 year-old, and six week old. Understandably.

Thanks! I’ll check it out. I should have clarified, I can barely polish my nails. They look atrocious if I do them. I guess this is going to be the skill I learn for the next couple of months.

To be clear y'all, I don't live in Oklahoma. That's just where my sister teaches and her kids go to school.
