The Decoding Westworld episode is so helpful. They always catch things I miss.
Apparently Tessa Thompson is on the latest Still Watching Westworld episode, though I haven’t listened to it yet. I loved her in this last episode.

I just binged (as best as a mom with a 3 year old can) on season 1 and season 2. I caught stuff DH didn’t catch when he watched it the first time through. He’s learned to give nothing away but I have years of sci-fi experience under my belt. I just finished season one and all I’m going to say is Mauve is my girl!!

Honestly I’m confused about Delores’ plan for the hosts and why Maeve doesn’t just help her. She can give her access to her daughter, no? Isn’t that all she wants.

I did like the Caleb and Francis stuff though. A bit predictable, but well done.

I don’t trust Stubbs. He was pretty eager to get on that computer and didn’t Serac say he had another mole? That’s likely a stretch, I know.
I hate the plot armour. HATE. I wish Maeve and Delores were one on one without machines or helicopters helping out. It would’ve been cooler if Maeve cut her arm off.
I don’t mind the Caleb backstory, but it took too long. We all figured he killed Francis so the reveal wasn’t a big deal. I think Delores is making him a scapegoat though and he will eventually end up on that bridge anyway.

I loved the sword work I liked but it felt entirely like fan service. All these hosts coming and being able to fight like assassins is lame to me. Including Delores.
Maeve’s powers bother me too. They’re so inconsistent and only feel as a means to fill in gaps.
I wish it was ten episodes.

I agree about the one on one fight babybean. Wouldn’t that be, like, the point of a samurai sword? For Maeve to have cut off Deloris’ arm? Anyway, I’m still loving all the badass ladies and it was great to have Clementine return too.

Also Serac has a killswitch on her so she doesn’t really have a choice. The bit about her daughter confuses me. I thought she let her go into the valley because she realized it wasn’t her daughter, it was a story. Being conscious like she is why does she press on for her?

How do we feel about the Futureworld theory? I was sort of all in in the first few episodes. Now, I'm not so sure. It is interesting that we still don't know the theme of the last park.

I think it’ll cheapen our progress in the series if they go this route. It’s a fun concept but I don’t want it for where we are now.

So more about protecting her because she loves her whether it’s a storyline or not, not necessarily reuniting with her.

Just a heads up, we've watched the whole thing in the last four weeks and on Sunday I was still like "wait. What? Who was that guy??? We need to rewatch." So it may take more than one back to back pass through
