Does anyone know if they make pajamas for Barbie dolls? Cadence has been insisting she needs pajamas for them and I can't find any. Barbie apparently doesn't sleep, she's too busy going to the moon, taking care of triplets, and keeping her animal boarding business above water. I have seen some before. My guess is you’d have to go in store to Walmart and target to look through the individual outfits to find them. ETA: there are a bunch of handmade ones available on Etsy. |

klong11 I looked on Mattel recently and didn’t see any pjs. FWIW my SIL bought C some ‘Barbie’ clothes (not name brand) from Amazon for Xmas and they were junk. It all started falling apart the first time we put the clothes on the doll—I think we’re down to 1 or 2 dresses from the original 8 or 10 😳 So I’d prob stick to Etsy if you go the off-brand route. This may be a UO but when did Barbie clothes get so ugly? I miss the clothes of my youth...things were pretty! Maybe it’s just the stores near me but I rarely see anything cute unless it actually comes on a doll.

Barbie does have jammies, but they are not always easy to find when sold separately. If you want to get crafty, I used to make troll clothes out of felt at my grandma's house. I didn't sew anything, just cut it out, attached Velcro or a few buttons/snaps, and decorated with lace that was fabric glued on. There are some patterns online to trace for the cut-outs. |

Happy Friday! Even though the days don’t matter any more 😉.
L officially has a tooth coming in so he’s sort of a mess. The other two are doing good self entertaining today.
Tonight we’ll order pizza and maybe watch the new onward movie that’s supposed to be released.
One of our local boutique shops is encouraging to shop online and the owner does hand deliveries every afternoon. I think it’s such a sweet thing to do- and smart. She said it’s been a hit all week. So I ordered a pair of jeans and sweater and they should be here in an hour! Trying to support the local businesses while we can, Dh just said our governor is speaking soon and thinks he’ll shut everything down

I had 4 video conferences this morning. When I was done, T had a huge rip in his pants that he claimed he didn’t know where it came from. The weather is beautiful today. DH made 1 last grocery store trip. The kids and I took a walk/scooter ride while DH was on a call. We will probably keep everyone outside as long as possible today while it’s nice.
I had dinner plans with 3 of T’s friend’s moms next week. We decided we are going to do a virtual cocktail hour one night. Hopefully, I won’t have drank all my alcohol by then.

The kids have been in our pool all afternoon. 🥶We figured they’d stay in the hot tub, but B broke the ice and of course C and the dog followed suit. I don’t know how they didn’t freeze—guess it’s like the lake up in Maine 🤷🏻♀️
Glad we are getting some extra use out of it before we move.

Dh just got a call that another person at the meeting he was at on Tuesday is exhibiting symptoms... greeeaaaat. (Also the same meeting I told him I thought was crazy that it was still held.. still waiting for him to tell me I was right😉)
But because of the shortage of tests, this person probably won’t get tested and now we just sit and wait to see what happens. Mr-in-denial about all this has finally realized he’ll be stuck at home now.

I finally figured out my computer....our wifi was down. Around noon I finally figured this out and usee my cell as a mobile hotspot. Such a pain in the ass and I lost a lot of my day fighting it. The interview went well, but I dont think they will pay me enough. I dont expect to get an offer. flamingo evie has all my old barbie clothes. Your memory may be skewed because some of them are really hideous. |

flamingo evie has all my old barbie clothes. Your memory may be skewed because some of them are really hideous. haha! Quite possible. I just remember cute dresses, wedding/formal gowns, etc. I looked on Mattel again today and there were maybe 2 sets I'd buy. |

Not directed at you slenle, but people...stay home. This is serious! I get it's hard to wfh with your kids or you want to go to the stores but STOP. I was FaceTimeing my sister this morning and we were whining about not being about to see each other and wondering when we could again. They were the last people (and my parents) we saw at dinner on Sunday. They’ve been completely isolated all week since my bil (a dentist) had to close his office, but since Dh has been working outside, we know it’s best not to see them for a while. As each day goes on, it definitely becomes more of a real deal. Crazy to think that a week ago, this wasn’t really on our mind.

I'm here! Trying to juggle working at home with both kids also home has been ROUGH! DH has taken the boys upstairs for an hour here and there but for the most part, they've been down with me. They were completely nuts today during a call I was leading but everyone gets it. Thankfully! Next week my coworker's daughter J is going to start coming over a few hours a day to help out. She's home since the state schools all shut down but she's been staying home with her family first to make sure they're all healthy. I don't love the idea but this is likely to go on at least through April and Col's distance learning curriculum officially, and I can't juggle work, Chase, and making sure Colin does his work. Fortunately (???) J's mildly OCD and a germophobe, so we're not concerned about her stopping on her drive back and forth. Major FWP: We called the cleaning lady to ask her not to come and how to pay her remotely. I'm going to miss her the most. |

I ended up going to acute care tonight and the PA diagnosed me with a sinus infection and gave me antibiotics. Hopefully these headaches and body aches will go away ASAP. I’m planning to get into my bed and not get out for the rest of the night.

Oh, I forgot to mention this. Last night H was jumping on the couch (I was in the bathroom getting ready for work, DH was making dinner) and broke one of the springs in one of the recliners. So now one recliner foot won’t stay closed. Real cool.

We have 17 cases of Corona virus confirmed in my city. My friend just texted me that her husband has a fever. She’s freaking out because her elderly mother lives with them. I feel so bad for them. He called his doctor but the doctor said not to do anything right now. NJ opening a drive through testing center today but has to shut down 4 hours early because the line was miles long. Rumor has it by tomorrow we will be following CA shelter in place rules.

trtlcrzy Ugh, sorry about the sinus infection. Hope the abx will help. Annoying about the chair. Like, one more thing on your plate! When I worked back in FL we had a guy who could fix recliner mechanisms, maybe try googling to see if there is someone in your area who can repair it. Or if you purchased at a furniture store maybe they could recommend someone.
