H has an appointment on Saturday at noon for his first. His schedule has been so weird lately between work and our race schedule. But Saturday he will get Moderna #1 then #2 times out to fall on another non race weekend.

angelashly , if it helps, they aren’t bad dreams, just very weird. In one, I mind melded with my cat, because he was secretly an ancient being from another civilization, and he wanted to impart all of his wisdom to me. Can handle then

I had my 2nd Pfizer on Thurs. Last week. Friday I felt like someone punched me in the arm but other than that I was fine. Didn't really have any issues with the 1st dose either. No one else in my family had any issues with Pfizer either. I don’t know why I did. I did get to spend the day resting in bed which I needed anyway. I’m already feeling better so I should be good to go tomorrow.

I'm hoping h doesn't have a reaction to either one

Cedar Point isn't requiring masks outdoors this year. Sounds like a great plan. 🙄

But people are constantly up your butt in lines at CP. We went last year with masks once & it was a nightmare. People don't know how to keep apart. Plus crowds when just walking around. I'm disappointed bc we have passes that'll go to waste again.

I have to wonder at this point if/when DeWine makes a change in the mask mandate. It has me curious.

DD and I stopped at the gas station after i picked her up from testing. The lady holding the door for us didn't have a mask on she was walking out. Then when we walked out the lady waiting in line had the mask on her neck but not covering her face. Neither had a thing said to them. I am guessing masks are going to go away now with vaccinations. *Not saying it is right but if CDC and Biden are going to say it is ok outside then people will not require. If they aren't required those places restaurants are going to start suing. So I say summer Nota🎃,

Ugh people! I've wanted to yell at people in stores to "Put your mask on" and "cover your dick nose" so much lately. Even in food industry places, which makes want to not eat there. Add on to that the proms and school dances and graduations... makes me anxious. I realize I am mostly protected, but I still worry about my DDs. We just did a drive thru graduation and we put a ton of precautions into place and I still felt nervous. We are a week out and no one so far has called.
That being said our campus did some student appreciation events last week and there have been pictures all over the place. No distance at all but at least masks?

we're still planning a virtual graduation but they are allowing parents/family to schedule a stage crossing so they can get the commemorative photos. By they I mean my college. At the HS level it is an absolute mess! With parents holding their own seniors only prom because they didn't like the school restrictions and an 8th grade dance outside of school because they MUST have a Jr. High formal. We have done virtual since the pandemic started. This semester the university wanted individual colleges to try and do something in person so this is all i was willing to plan. In the end Dewine allowed graduations so our university is doing a big one anyway.

NOoooo! I was so looking forward to CP! Because yeah passes, but also outside and mask requirements and a semblance of trying to keep distances. Now everyone is going to be all up on top of each other again. Ugh! Can we just stick it out one more season until a vaccine is available for all?! that's what I was hoping for.

There is a Qrazy on my local Nextdo.or that is just going nuts in every (unrelated) thread about how the mask thing violates OH law because they're a medical device and only a Dr can order that they be worn and even then it's "just a suggestion", requiring kids to wear them violates the federal civil rights law, and blah blah blah. So that's what I'm afraid of encountering at the store, especially after some guy coughed AT me once.
I am going to continue going barely anywhere and avoiding all the assholes. I'm worried for my younger kids mostly, but obviously us too. We haven't seen anyone in our families since Xmas last year, although now that all the adults are vaccinated we might consider it. Everyone lives about 4 hrs from us.. MIL has been inviting over everyone she knows though, some overnight. Individually at least, but still makes me nervous.
Like, I want to take my kids to the zoo, and do fun stuff, and do the birthday trip we were planning for DS(16, May) last year and couldn't. He'll be in college before I know it.

And DD is making her First Communion on Sat and I expressed my concerns about distancing, how many extra people they're letting come (initially I thought it was only immediate family because they're also streaming it, but apparently a bunch of people are bring a dozen guests 🤦♀️), mask wearing because I've seen people blatantly ignore the rules and nobody says anything but of course the director of religious ed was all "everyone follows the rules, it will all be fine". I'm really anxious about it. I really hope they have a vaccine for kids approved by Fall because there is no virtual option being planned for next year.
There are way too many selfish assholes

CDC says vaccinated people can go without masks outdoors except for crowd settings. So wouldn't CP still fall under needs a mask because crowd?

I need to see the order in full. I know they said outdoor concerts would be considered a crowd so to me that would be CP since the only difference is the sitting?
I am confused by the whole thing. Are they going to follow unmasked people and ask to see their vaccination cards?

Well....maybe this deserves flames, but as long as I wasn't right next to someone, I was already going without a mask outdoors. Not a big change there.

We’ve been extremely cautious and isolating and even we don’t wear a mask when we’re outside walking the neighborhood or on hikes, as long as no one else was within 10-20 feet. When someone approached us on a trail, we’d pull up our masks quickly as a courtesy.

I guess now it will be with small family gatherings, but honestly outside we did that anyway because it was distanced and we all have been careful.

We don't wear masks outdoors either when walking at a park or neighborhood but we barely get close enough to anyone also but then again all we've really been doing is going to parks.

Anyone in the CLE area going to the draft experience? I'm really curious how that's working out.

Has anyone ever randomly received a call from the Ohio SOS being invited to a town hall? It popped up on my phone as Ohio Secretary so I laughed and figured it was spam. But the recording of Frank LaRose was left in my voicemail inviting me to tonight’s townhall. I have no idea how or why I would be invited for this. Do they send invites out to a large group of voters or something? It’s so random.

In a regular year I probably would have thought about it before ultimately deciding not too go lol. Too many people and so cold. Though Saturday was a little better. I was shivering watching from home on Thursday night 😆
